The update also brought hundreds of weapon parts and new optics, alongside changes to handling and ballistics.
All eight new weapons in Spearhead
MADFINGER Games’ official roster for Update 0.4 is:

The developer described the additions as spanning low-tier and high-tier guns, with the aim of broadening players’ choices. It did not identify a tier for each weapon, so the announcement does not support a weapon-by-weapon tier list or a ranking of which gun is best. MADFINGER Games’ March 11, 2026 content preview lists the roster and its stated design intent.
New parts, optics, and weapon variants
The new guns arrived as part of a larger weapon-content expansion. MADFINGER Games reported 380+ new weapon parts, including new components and color variants for existing parts. The same preview listed:

These are update-wide counts; the announcement does not map each part or optic to a specific new weapon. Spearhead also covered tasks and contracts, locations, gear, AI improvements, loot changes, and system reworks, making the weapon additions one part of a broader release. The March 31 launch announcement confirms the update went live that day.
How Update 0.4 changed weapon handling
Spearhead changed more than the roster. The official patch descriptions say weapon weight now affects ergonomics, sway, acceleration, and aiming down sights (ADS), and the update introduced manual bolting. MADFINGER Games also described revised weapon stats, improved ballistics, ammunition-dependent durability loss, new weapon checks and reload animations, and clearer weapon sounds. The content preview and shipped update announcement present these as patch changes, not comparative test results for individual guns.

Those systems make a weapon’s feel depend on more than its name: weight and ergonomics can affect aiming and movement, while ammunition and ballistics influence other parts of use. The available official announcements do not provide weapon-by-weapon performance figures or establish that one of the eight additions outperforms the others.
What the Alien partnership confirms
One addition has a specifically documented real-world partnership: MADFINGER Games’ March 23, 2026 announcement identifies Laugo Arms as the maker of the in-game Alien handgun and describes the collaboration as connected to Spearhead. That confirms the partnership, but does not establish a broader claim about the other seven weapons. The partnership announcement also mentions other partners and in-game content, which are separate from the weapon roster.

When Update 0.4 arrived—and what followed
MADFINGER introduced the Spearhead name for Update 0.4 on February 27, 2026, previewed the new content on March 11, and launched the update on March 31. On October 1, 2026, the developer announced Update 0.5: Rogue Ops, with an October 22 launch plan. As of October 8, that date was still in the future; it does not change which weapons were added in Spearhead. The Update 0.5 announcement provides that follow-on timing.
