What the release trailer announced
The video titled Grind Survivors – Official Release Date Trailer was dated March 5, 2026 in its listing. Its description announced a March 16 launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. The game’s official website also presents a video called “Grind Survivors – Release Trailer”; that is a separately identified trailer, so the two titles should not be treated as the same video.
The available release-date trailer description establishes the premise and platform announcement, but does not document its individual shots. The game was developed by Pushka Studios and published by Assemble Entertainment, according to its Steam listing.
What kind of game is Grind Survivors?
Steam describes Grind Survivors as a fast-paced action roguelike, also using the broader “action rogue- and survivors-like” description. Players take the role of a demon hunter in a post-apocalyptic setting, fighting waves of hellspawn while dodging attacks and collecting procedurally generated weapons with randomized stats and traits.

The central hook is the combination of crowded horde combat and loot-driven progression. Upgrades can be stacked into builds, while the Forge gives players a way to fuse gear or reroll its stats. Steam also lists several biomes and an endlessly scaling mode, which is described as a way to keep testing a build against rising difficulty.
