Nutty Fever was a limited-time Grow a Garden activity tied to the Chubby Chipmunk update. Players contributed harvested fruit to the NPC Nuts to build event progress; guides say starting Nutty Fever shortened the chipmunk’s cooldown, letting it eat more often and advance its weight progression. The event is historical, not a currently available activity: Pocket Tactics lists its dates as October 4–11, 2025, though other guides give different timing.
How Nutty Fever worked
The event centered on a contribution loop: bring harvested fruit to Nuts, fill the event progress bar, then use the temporary Nutty Fever period to benefit from the Chubby Chipmunk’s faster eating cycle. Guides also associate the activity with acorns to collect and rewards such as Nutty Chests and Nutty Crates. Pocket Tactics additionally describes milestone rewards linked to the pet’s weight.
- Harvest fruit from your garden.
- Submit fruit to Nuts to add progress to the event bar.
- When Nutty Fever activates, make use of the Chubby Chipmunk’s reduced cooldown to support its weight progression.
- Collect acorns and any event rewards available during the activity.
These steps summarize mechanics described by Pro Game Guides and Pocket Tactics; neither source is primary game documentation.
How do you trigger Nutty Fever?
Contributing fruit to Nuts is the documented trigger method, but the exact activation requirement is unresolved. Pro Game Guides provides rarity-based fruit point values without establishing a definitive total in the available guide information. BO3.gg reports a 1,500-point threshold and a five-minute event, while other indexed coverage reports 500 points. No primary announcement or official game documentation surfaced to reconcile the figures, so neither threshold should be treated as verified.
