Yes: an interview transcript describing a Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay demonstration says Jason appears naked in a shower. That confirms nudity in the demonstration, not an explicit sex scene or a player-controlled intimacy feature. Rockstar North co-studio head Rob Nelson said the team wants physical intimacy to feel right and is iterating on how to handle it.
What the GTA 6 demonstration showed
In a full interview transcript reproduced by Game Up News, demonstration notes describe a scene involving Lucia and a man in a dumpster, followed by a switch to Jason, who is naked in the shower. The transcript’s account supports the claim that the demonstration included a nude scene; it does not describe the shower scene as sex. Read the transcript reproduced by Game Up News.
Game Up News says the interview took place during IGN’s visit to Rockstar North in July 2026, with interview highlights published by IGN in August and the full conversation published later by Game Up News. Nelson is identified as Rockstar North co-studio head.
What Rockstar said about physical intimacy
Asked about intimacy, Nelson said: “But physical intimacy is a huge part of a relationship, and so it has to be done right. Like anything that we do, we have to iterate and try things and iterate on it until we figure out what feels right.”

He also said Rockstar did not want a “weird caricature” and wanted to “err on the right side of it.” Those comments describe the team’s intentions and development process. They do not confirm a particular scene, mechanic, or final-game content.
What is—and isn’t—confirmed about sex and romance
- Shown in the demonstration: Jason naked in a shower, according to the transcript.
- Not established by that scene: that the shower depicts sex.
- Not confirmed: whether players can initiate sex with Jason and Lucia outside scripted story moments. A syndicated IGN report says Rockstar had not confirmed this. Read the syndicated IGN report.

The useful distinction is between nudity described in a demonstration and claims about explicit scenes or interactive systems. The available comments do not settle what the finished game will include beyond what the transcript says was shown.
