A Grand Theft Auto VI PlayStation Store update in November 2025 was a GTA+ promotion—not an official hint or announcement of Trailer 3. Fans speculated that a new trailer might follow, but GamesRadar reported that none appeared and that the promotion was later removed. Rockstar’s official GTA VI page currently lists an Extended Look and Trailers 1 and 2, but no Trailer 3.
Why the PlayStation Store update sparked Trailer 3 speculation
In November 2025, GamesRadar reported that a GTA+ promotion appeared on Grand Theft Auto VI’s PlayStation Store page. Some fans interpreted the change as a possible sign that Rockstar was preparing to release a third trailer. That connection was fan speculation: the Store promotion itself did not announce a trailer, and Rockstar did not confirm a link between the two.

GamesRadar reported that no new trailer followed the update; Rockstar instead posted a Red Dead Online update. The outlet later reported that the GTA+ promotion had been removed from the Store page. GamesRadar’s report on the promotion and fan reaction documents the episode, not an official Rockstar trailer tease.
Has GTA 6 Trailer 3 been announced?
No Trailer 3 is listed on Rockstar’s official GTA VI page at the time of this update. The page features an “Extended Look” alongside Trailer 2 and Trailer 1. Its featured news includes an August 27, 2026 extended-look item, but the page does not list a third trailer. This describes the page’s current contents; it does not establish what Rockstar may announce in the future. Check Rockstar’s official GTA VI page for the latest listings.

The November 2025 Store incident is historical. Current product information is separate from that speculation: PlayStation’s US product page lists Grand Theft Auto VI for PS5 and PS5 Pro, with a November 19, 2026 release date. It says the game will not be available on PS4 and describes it as a single-player experience. PlayStation’s US GTA VI page has the platform and release details.

The US PlayStation Store lists Standard and Ultimate editions at $79.99 and $99.99, respectively. Those are US Store prices and should not be assumed to apply in other regions. The listing also includes a one-month GTA+ pre-order offer that auto-renews unless canceled; review the offer’s redemption and renewal terms before claiming it. These listings and terms can change. See the current US PlayStation Store listing.
Rockstar and Take-Two announced that pre-orders would begin June 25, 2026. Their announcement says a boxed version containing a download code would be available through global retailers starting November 12, 2026; it does not describe that version as a disc release.
