Grand Theft Auto VI is currently scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, according to Rockstar Games’ official GTA VI page. That is the date Rockstar announced on November 6, 2025, and the date its current listing still shows as of October 8, 2026.
Did GTA 6 get delayed again?
Rockstar’s current listing gives November 19, 2026 as the release date. The available official information does not establish a newer delay beyond that announcement, so there is no basis here to report another change or predict whether the date will move.
When it announced the date, Rockstar Games said: “We are sorry for adding additional time to what we realize has been a long wait, but these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve.” The statement is attributed to Rockstar Games; no individual speaker is identified in the accessible material.
Which platforms will GTA 6 be on?
Rockstar currently lists PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Its support page confirms those platforms and describes the available editions. The official listing does not name a PC version.

PS5 features Sony says are supported
Sony says the PS5 version uses the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, its built-in speaker, Tempest 3D AudioTech, and the PS5 SSD. These are Sony’s platform feature descriptions, not independently tested performance claims. See the PlayStation Blog announcement.

Where can you pre-order GTA 6?
Rockstar says pre-orders are offered through the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Rockstar Store, and select retailers where available. Availability depends on country and platform. Check region compatibility before purchasing: Rockstar notes that codes may be restricted according to the region of the platform account.
