Rockstar has not announced a numbered GTA 6 Trailer 3. As of October 9, 2026, its official video archive lists Trailer 1, Trailer 2, and a separate video titled Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look. The new speculation comes from a YouTube banner that reportedly uses modified Jason and Lucia artwork and the line “There’s more to GTA VI on YouTube.” Notebookcheck reported the banner on October 8, 2026, and fans have read it as a hint at another video. Nothing in the official record confirms that hint.
What the YouTube banner actually shows
Notebookcheck, reporting by Adam Corsetti on October 8, 2026, describes a YouTube banner reading “There’s more to GTA VI on YouTube.” According to that report, the image adapts existing artwork of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, and the account videotech shared it on X. The report says the banner prompted speculation about a future video, with some fans hoping for a trailer that same day. It also raises the possibility of music-video or album-related content.
Those are hypotheses, not findings. The report does not say where the campaign leads, and no Rockstar statement about the banner’s intent has been published that we could verify. We also could not confirm the ad against a YouTube campaign page, so treat the banner as a reported promotional image rather than a documented Rockstar announcement.
What Rockstar’s official video archive lists
The most direct check is Rockstar’s own Grand Theft Auto VI video archive. Its three official videos are:
- Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look
- Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2
- Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 1
The archive also lists nine separate clips, including character clips of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. Those clips are catalogued apart from the three main videos. Rockstar’s home page currently features An Extended Look under “Now Playing,” and the archive does not label it as Trailer 3. That distinction matters: an additional official video is not the same as an officially numbered trailer, and the archive does not show one.

Release date and platforms
Rockstar’s official game page lists a release date of November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Take-Two’s June 24, 2026 pre-order announcement gave a launch price of $79.99 for the single-player game and said a physical boxed version containing a download code would be available from November 12, 2026. The box carries a download code, not a disc. These price and availability details come from a June announcement and may have changed, so confirm them on Rockstar’s or Take-Two’s current pages before quoting them.

How to verify a new GTA 6 video
- Open Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto VI video archive and compare the title list against the three videos above.
- Check whether a new video is labelled “Trailer 3” by Rockstar, not by fan accounts or a YouTube thumbnail.
- Look at the Rockstar Games Grand Theft Auto VI page for the current featured video and any dated announcements.
- Treat reposted banners and leaks as unverified until a Rockstar channel or the official archive confirms them.
If a video appears on the archive, record its exact title as Rockstar lists it, and note the time you checked. Official titles change the meaning of a claim: a clip labelled Trailer 3 would be a different statement from one labelled An Extended Look or a character clip.
