How to compare song libraries fairly
A game’s total chart library is not the same as its included, licensed setlist. Some games emphasize curated songs provided by the project; others rely on players adding charts, or offer tracks through rotating shops and passes. The sources available here do not provide comparable, current total-library counts for every game, so there is no defensible overall ranking by number of songs.
For a practical choice, compare what is included, how new songs are accessed, which platforms and inputs are supported, and whether you want solo, local, or online play.

YARG: the strongest documented included setlist
YARG describes itself as free, open source, and community driven. Its official site reports over 100 licensed songs in its setlist, naming Nine Inch Nails, Good Kid, Last Dinosaurs, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, and Glass Beach, as well as songs from independent creators. It also says full albums are available to download through the YARC Launcher. That makes YARG the strongest documented choice here for a curated official setlist; it does not establish that YARG has the largest total chart library.

YARG says it opposes piracy and does not use ripped or pirated assets or music. Its official position is stated on the project site. Community-created content and licensed official songs should not be treated as interchangeable: the licensing claim applies to the official setlist, not every chart a player may encounter elsewhere.
Clone Hero: library totals are not established by its official page
Clone Hero’s official page emphasizes platform and input options rather than a quantified bundled song catalog. It lists local play, online multiplayer, and global leaderboards, but does not establish a current total for official or custom charts. That makes it a strong direction for flexibility, not a source-backed answer to “which game has the most songs?”

Fortnite Festival: licensed tracks with changing access
Fortnite Festival uses Jam Tracks. Epic says tracks enter the Main Stage setlist, and access to a particular track may depend on whether it is available through a seasonal pass or the rotating shop. Epic’s help page lists Lead, Drum, Vocals, Bass, Pro Lead, and Pro Bass. Its introduction describes Festival as a Harmonix-created rhythm experience within Fortnite, with Main Stage and Jam Stage modes and licensed music spanning genres and decades.
Epic’s introduction described Fortnite as free to play and listed PlayStation 5/4, Xbox Series X|S/One, Switch, PC, and Android at publication. That is launch-era platform information, not a complete live platform matrix. Check Fortnite’s current availability for your device rather than treating that list as current platform confirmation.

Stage Tour: announced songs are not a final launch library
As of October 4, 2026, Stage Tour is still upcoming, with a reported release date of December 10, 2026. MusicRadar’s August 27 report described more than 90 songs as part of the game and listed 25 confirmed tracks, including music by The Rolling Stones, Muse, BABYMETAL/Electric Callboy, Extreme, Ghost, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Weezer, Avril Lavigne, Paramore, Slipknot, Mastodon, The Cure, and Radiohead. Treat those as dated pre-release announcements: they do not verify the final launch setlist.
Which games support guitar controllers?
Clone Hero: broad stated input options
Clone Hero says it accepts any five- or six-fret guitar controller, as well as MIDI drum kits, game controllers, and keyboards. Its official page lists Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, and iOS. This is the clearest broad input-and-platform statement among the games compared, but it does not identify every specific guitar model or guarantee that a given controller works on every operating system.

Fortnite Festival: Pro parts and guitar-controller inputs
Epic says Pro Lead and Pro Bass are available on all current and future Jam Tracks. The parts can be played with supported keyboard/mouse, gamepad, or guitar-controller inputs; guitar controllers can also be used for non-pro parts. Epic’s support page explains Pro Lead and Pro Bass. Compatibility still depends on the controller, its edition, and the platform.
YARG: multiple instruments, with controller details to verify
YARG supports guitar, bass, drums, keys, and vocals, according to its official site. The cited project information does not provide a universal compatibility list by controller model and platform, so confirm your specific setup against YARG’s current documentation before choosing hardware.

Stage Tour: some legacy-controller support reported, exact pairings unconfirmed
MusicRadar reported that Stage Tour will work with some existing instrument controllers and described guitar and band bundles. That does not establish universal legacy-controller support or a complete model-by-model and platform-by-platform compatibility matrix. Because the game is unreleased at this date, check its launch information for the exact controller you own.

CRKD markets Gibson Les Paul guitar controllers for Clone Hero, YARG, legacy Guitar Hero and Rock Band games, and Fortnite Festival. Its official product information distinguishes multi-platform and Xbox-specific editions and says detailed compatibility varies by product page.
- Match the exact game and platform. Do not assume a controller that works with one title or console works with another.
- Check the controller edition. CRKD says its multi-platform model’s KEYJAM mode remaps the controller as keyboard and mouse for Fortnite Festival across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, and PS5.
- Confirm the mode limitation. CRKD specifically says Xbox-specific editions currently do not support KEYJAM mode.
- Read the individual product compatibility details. The maker says compatibility varies by product page; a general marketing list is not a guarantee for every pairing.
Swappable fret necks and a protective carry bag are optional CRKD accessories, not prerequisites for playing. Avoid assuming any guitar controller is plug-and-play across all games and platforms.
