Hades II v1.0 launched worldwide at 9 a.m. PDT on Thursday, September 25, 2025. Supergiant Games said the launch would happen at that time “or your local time.” The release date has passed, so this is a confirmed historical launch time—not a countdown to an upcoming release.
What time did Hades II v1.0 release?
Supergiant announced the time on September 18, 2025: “It will be available worldwide at 9am PDT on Thursday, September 25, or your local time.” The publisher’s wording gives the confirmed global release time, but does not enumerate separate clock times for individual regions.
For that date, PDT was the applicable Pacific daylight-saving time designation. Supergiant’s “or your local time” wording indicates a corresponding local release time; it should not be read as a separate date or an independently confirmed regional schedule.
Which platforms were included in the v1.0 launch?
Supergiant named four platforms for the September 25, 2025 launch:

The announcement did not say that saves transfer between PC and Nintendo platforms, so those pairings should not be taken to imply cross-saving across all four platforms.
What was included in the announced physical edition?
Supergiant described a physical game-card edition for the Nintendo Switch family. The publisher said the card would work with the original Nintendo Switch and listed a full-color Character Compendium booklet, a download code for the Hades II Original Soundtrack, and a reversible cover as included extras. It described the soundtrack as featuring “nearly four hours of music.” That is the publisher’s approximate description, not an independently measured duration. - September 12, 2025: Supergiant announced September 25 as the v1.0 release date, along with the launch platforms, cross-save pairings, and physical edition.
- September 18, 2025: Supergiant confirmed the worldwide 9 a.m. PDT release time and added “or your local time.”
- September 25, 2025: Supergiant announced that Early Access development was complete and v1.0 was available on Switch 2, Switch, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Steam’s listing also gives September 25, 2025 as the release date.
