If Halloween: The Game DLC is missing, first make sure you’re signed into the account that bought it. Then check that the add-on is owned and installed in your platform’s library or store. If it is installed but still not visible in the game, restart the game and look in the relevant character, cosmetic, or comic area. The steps differ on Steam, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch 2/Switch, and Xbox.
Check your account and purchase first
Confirm that the platform account currently signed in is the one used to buy the game or add-on. If the content is not listed as owned, check that account’s order or transaction history before reinstalling the game. PlayStation specifically recommends checking transaction history when a purchased game or add-on cannot be found: PlayStation’s download and add-on instructions.
Also distinguish the Digital Deluxe Upgrade from the base game. The upgrade is a separate entitlement, and the Steam listing says it requires the base game. Store listings and availability can vary by territory. Check the listing for the platform and region where you play before assuming the upgrade is included with your purchase: Steam’s Halloween: The Game listing.
Find and install the add-on on your platform
Steam
- Open Steam and go to Library.
- Select Halloween: The Game and open its Properties.
- Choose DLC to view owned add-ons and their installation status. Check that the relevant DLC is enabled for installation.

PlayStation 5
- From Games home, open Game Library, then Your Collection.
- Select Halloween: The Game and scroll to Add-Ons.
- Select the add-on you own and download it.
PlayStation 4
- Open Library, then Purchased, and select the game.
- Open PlayStation Store, then Your Add-Ons.
- Find the relevant content and select the download arrow.
The PlayStation App also provides access to a game’s add-ons from its library entry. For platform-specific details, see PlayStation Support’s instructions.
Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch
- Open Nintendo eShop and locate the specific game or DLC. Check its purchase status and, where applicable, its Virtual Game Card status.
- Select the DLC and redownload it if that option is available.
- Wait for the download to finish, then launch the game.
If you use a physical game copy, check that the game’s region is compatible with the DLC’s region and your Nintendo Account region. Xbox Series X|S
Open the console’s game and add-on management area and check whether the relevant add-on is available to install. The Halloween listing identifies Xbox Series X|S as a supported console family and lists the Digital Deluxe Upgrade as a related add-on: Xbox: Buy Halloween: The Game. A general SEGA console guide also describes managing game add-ons and checking whether the game and account regions match; if your Xbox menus differ, use SEGA’s console DLC guidance as a general reference and contact Xbox Support for console-specific help.
What the Halloween Digital Deluxe Upgrade includes
Official preorder information describes the Digital Deluxe contents as the Inmate Michael Myers skin, the civilian characters Alexis and Richard, advance access to a Laurie Strode cosmetic, and a digital comic. The upgrade is separate from the base game unless your edition includes it. Check your purchase’s platform listing and order history to establish which entitlement you own: IllFonic’s Halloween: The Game preorder information.

The same official information identifies the Phantom Michael Myers skin as a digital preorder exclusive that would not be available to purchase after the preorder period. If that is the specific skin you are missing, it is not ordinary DLC to buy or reinstall.

- Wait until the platform shows the download as complete, then close and restart the game.
- Check the relevant character, cosmetic, or comic area rather than assuming every Deluxe item appears as a separate downloadable file or immediately at the start of play.
- If the platform shows the add-on as owned but not installed, return to its library or game-management screen and install it there.
- If it is not shown as owned, verify the purchasing account and transaction history; if it is owned but unavailable to install, check platform and region compatibility.
The official Halloween news index lists Patch Notes 1.1.0 dated 6 October 2026, but the indexed information does not say that this update fixes DLC visibility. The index also lists a physical-editions announcement; it does not establish stock or availability for any particular retailer or region: Halloween: The Game news index.
