When is Hallow’s End 2026?
Wowhead’s current Hallow’s End guide lists the 2026 event for October 19–November 2. Those dates are not established here by an official Blizzard 2026 announcement. For comparison, Blizzard’s official 2025 announcement gave that year’s event dates as October 18–November 1; last year’s schedule does not confirm this year’s.
What is new for 2026?
Wowhead lists four new Hallow’s End quests and says they reward Spooky Supplies:

How to take part in Hallow’s End
Blizzard’s evergreen Hallow’s End page describes a holiday loop built around collecting Tricky Treats, visiting inns, and joining seasonal activities. Exact mechanics can change between game versions, so use the current client for level, queue, and availability requirements.

Look for candy buckets in inns and complete holiday quests. Blizzard describes Tricky Treats as event currency that can be spent on seasonal goods. The holiday also features apple bobbing.

Queue for the Headless Horseman
Blizzard’s event page and 2025 announcement describe a daily Headless Horseman encounter accessed through the Dungeon Finder. The evergreen page lists the Horseman’s Reins as a possible reward from the daily Loot-Filled Pumpkin; it is a chance, not a guaranteed drop.

Returning rewards and seasonal items
Blizzard’s evergreen page lists the Horseman’s Reins among possible daily Loot-Filled Pumpkin rewards. It also describes the Magic Broom as a temporary seasonal mount, rather than a permanent collection mount. These are established holiday details, not confirmation of a new 2026 reward update.
Blizzard’s 2025 announcement introduced pieces of the Patched Harvest Golem transmog set and three weapons: The Horseman’s Ghoulish Great Blade, Ghoulish Blade, and Ghoulish Bulwark. Each weapon was listed at 100 Tricky Treats in that year’s vendor inventory. The announcement’s opening line, spoken by the Headless Horseman, was: “Prepare yourselves, the bells have tolled! Shelter your weak, your young, and your old! Each of you shall pay the final sum. Cry for mercy, the reckoning has come!”
