Halo: Flashpoint is Mantic Games’ officially licensed tactical miniatures game for two or more players. Mantic’s official materials confirm the game’s Spartan fireteam premise and direct players to its app for the current rules, FAQs, and errata. They do not verify every specific mechanic described in the February 19, 2026 headline’s account of a “full reveal,” so treat details such as shield behavior, dice, and game length as unconfirmed unless they appear in the live rules.
What Halo: Flashpoint is
Mantic describes Halo: Flashpoint as a tactical miniatures game that brings Halo game modes, troop types, and weapons to the tabletop. Its first reveal, published March 3, 2024, described players commanding Spartan fireteams and said the game would use pre-assembled plastic miniatures and pre-coloured, easy-assembly terrain.
That announcement established the game’s broad premise, not a complete rules reference. Mantic’s wording was: “You and your opponent will be taking command of highly-trained Spartan fireteams that clash against each other using combat tactics and iconic weapons from the Halo universe.”
What is confirmed about the rules
Mantic’s official materials establish that the game has rules support and that players can build toward more advanced fireteams using a points system. The company also describes expansion into additional miniatures, loadouts, and scenery. For the rules currently in force, Mantic directs players to the Halo: Flashpoint App, which it identifies as the home of the current ruleset, FAQs, and errata.
