What did the Champions Operation add from Halo: Reach?
Champions introduced Firefight: Battle for Reach, a playlist built around locations and events associated with Halo: Reach. Halo’s launch announcement framed it as a return to the game’s missions and maps; the specific arenas draw on several different parts of Reach’s history, as well as a New Mombasa setting. Halo Waypoint’s launch announcement details the connections.

These are themed recreations and reimaginings within Halo Infinite’s Firefight playlist, rather than a requirement to own or play a separate Halo: Reach release.
What rewards and customization came with Champions?
Free Operation Pass
The free Champions Operation Pass had 20 tiers, including Emissary armor, a Phoenix emblem and Spartan Points. Halo Support also lists the 20-tier track in its Fleetcom Operation Update patch notes.

Launch-era paid pass options
At launch, Halo listed a 500-credit offer for a permanent pass with additional bonuses, and a 2,000-credit option to unlock all 20 tiers immediately. The premium upgrade included the Reavian Claw weapon model and Falling Flame coating. These are the offers described in the September 2024 announcement, not confirmation of current prices or availability.
Exchange and Shop
The launch announcement also described returning Tenrai- and HCS-themed items in the Exchange and several Shop bundles. Those were additional customization routes at the time; the announcement does not establish that any listed item or bundle remains available now.

When did the Champions Operation end?
Halo Support lists the scheduled active window as September 3 through October 8, 2024. Champions should therefore be understood as a past operation, not an event still running. Its core additions were in-game playlist and customization content; the official descriptions do not call for a physical purchase to access the update’s core content.
