Jam City has acknowledged Facebook login trouble for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery in the past, but the records available are from 2021 and 2022—not confirmation of an outage now. If a Facebook-connected save will not load, Jam City’s current guidance is to install the Facebook mobile app, sign in to it, and then retry the game. For a persistent problem, preserve your Player ID and contact Jam City Support.
Has Jam City acknowledged a Facebook outage?
Yes. Historical community posts reproduce or summarize Jam City acknowledgements, but they do not establish that Facebook login is currently down. No current outage statement, incident duration, technical cause, or affected-player count is established by the official support material cited here.
October 4, 2021
A Reddit post titled “Posted with permission from JamCity” reproduces a message attributed to Jam City: “We apologize for the inconvenience as we are experiencing technical difficulties today with accounts connected to Facebook login.” The original Jam City post was not directly accessible, so this is best treated as a community-posted reproduction of the message, not an independently verified copy of the original channel. See the Reddit reproduction.
November 9 and 11, 2022
A separate Reddit community post reports that Jam City acknowledged Facebook login and cloud-version issues on November 9, then acknowledged an outage involving Facebook features on November 11. This is a community summary rather than an accessible primary copy. See the community summary.

Why can’t I load my Facebook-connected save?
Jam City’s help article says to install the Facebook mobile app and sign in to it before trying to load a Facebook-connected save. Once you have logged in, the Facebook app does not need to remain open while you play. Read Jam City’s Facebook-save troubleshooting article.
- Install the Facebook mobile app if it is not already on your device.
- Open Facebook and sign in to the account linked to your game save.
- Return to Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery and retry loading the save.
This guidance concerns Facebook login in the mobile game. It should not be confused with the discontinued Facebook Cloud Gaming version: Jam City’s deprecation guidance said that change took effect December 31, 2023, and that mobile players using Facebook login were not affected. Read Jam City’s cloud-gaming deprecation guidance.
