Is Haunted Chocolatier still in development?
Yes. In an official update dated August 30, 2026, Barone said he was making progress and had been very productive lately. He also wrote, “I won’t compromise on the quality of the game by rushing it or releasing it too early.” That update did not announce a launch window.
When does Haunted Chocolatier come out?
No release date or estimated release date has been announced. The official FAQ says Barone cannot commit to either. A January 2026 post clarified that his earlier “I hope so” response to a question about a five-year timeframe was not a release commitment, so it should not be treated as a promised year.

What platforms will Haunted Chocolatier be on?
PC is the only confirmed platform. Barone has said he intends to release the game on other major platforms, but those platforms are not confirmed. The game is currently single-player, and he has said there are no current plans for multiplayer.
