If a Hay Day Boat Event shipment arrives without the puzzle-piece reward you expected, the issue was acknowledged by Hay Day during an event in November 2023. The available reporting confirms the acknowledgement and an intended update, but not that the update shipped or that the issue is fixed today. For a missing reward now, contact support in the game at Settings > Help and Support.
What happened with the Boat Event puzzle-piece rewards?
Players reported that incoming boats did not match their expectations for puzzle-piece rewards. In a November 27, 2023 discussion, one player wrote, “the next one that is coming isn’t a puzzle piece boat,” after completing two of five boats. Other comments also mentioned boats that were not puzzle boats and boat order around the daily reset. These are player accounts, not confirmation of the intended boat schedule. Read the discussion.
Separately, Hay Day acknowledged a reward issue. A November 28 report reproduced a statement attributed to the Hay Day account and posted November 27: “Hey, Farmers! We are aware of the issue preventing you from winning puzzle piece rewards in the ongoing Boat Event!🧩 Our team is currently working on a solution. Please expect a few changes and a small update targeting this issue soon. Thank you for your patience!#HayDay”. The acknowledgement described players being prevented from winning puzzle-piece rewards; it did not establish that the boat sequence itself was the cause. Read the report reproducing the statement.
Was the bug fixed?
The 2023 report said an update was expected, but it did not confirm a release date or later delivery. The available information therefore cannot establish whether that update shipped or whether a similar problem is happening now. A historical acknowledgement is not proof of a current outage—or of a current fix.

- Contact support and describe the event date, which boat or boats you completed, and the puzzle-piece reward you expected. This is useful context to provide, not a published required checklist.
