Some event collectibles stopped spawning after the season, while certain activities and rewards remained available to players who already had the required items.
When did the Heartopia Winter Frost Season start and end?
The season’s main Fashionwave period ran from January 31 through March 13, 2026, according to the detailed event guide. A broader seasonal guide includes a January 24–31 preparation phase and gives a March 14, 5:00 a.m. end; a reproduced Heartopia notice reports the season ended at 5:59 on March 14, server time. These dates describe different phases and server-time reporting, rather than a single universally stated end time. For a server-specific timestamp, the in-game archive or an official announcement is the best reference. Where was the event hub, and what were the requirements?
Winter Utopia was on Onsen Mountain. Fashionwave NPC Azure was near the bus stop and igloo, where players could access the seasonal shop. Heartopia.live lists D.G. Member Level 6 or higher for the season. The separate Onsen Egg Hunt guide lists D.G. Level 7 or higher, completion of the main tutorial, and speaking to the event NPC; those requirements apply to that activity, not necessarily every season feature. How did Frostspore fishing and insect collecting work?
Unlocking and catching Frostspore Fish
To unlock Frostspore fishing during the event, players had to speak with Vanya on the northern beach of Onsen Mountain and complete her introductory quest. After that, Frostspore Fish spawned at Old Sea off the coast. The guide says they did not spawn in rivers, lakes or other sea areas, so fishing elsewhere would not produce them. Unlocking and finding Frostspore Butterflies
The seasonal guide says to speak with Naniwa and choose the “Mysterious Frostspore Butterflies” dialogue to unlock the insect collection. Its five entries sent players through locations including Forest Lake, Deer Tower, Spirit-Oak Pine Forest and the Forest Jump Puzzle; the Postman Butterfly had a special event spawn. The guide lists insects as available in normal weather at any time while the season was active. What time was the Snow Concert?
The Snow Concert took place at the Onsen Mountain venue at 7:00 p.m. server time during the season. Its schedule changed by phase: daily during the opening week, on weekends during weeks two through five, and daily again in the closing week. What other Winter Frost activities were available?
Snowman Bubbles and Frostbitten Skin
The seasonal guide lists ten Snowman Bubbles across Town, Forest, Onsen Mountain, Whale Mountain, Flower Fields and Fishing Village. Popping them rewarded snowman sculpture decorations. It also describes Frostbitten Skin as a six-day consecutive-day streak: trigger the Frostspore Infection buff in cold weather, keep it active for at least one minute, then repeat on each of six consecutive days. Ice Skating
The Onsen Mountain rink offered free skating, cooperative skating, a timed Challenge Mode and Dream progression. Heartopia.guide reports two challenge attempts earned each day, with a maximum stack of ten, and notes that players should check the event UI for schedule differences. A quest could unlock rink flooring or materials for a home skating spot. After the season, players with a home rink could continue skating and progressing their Dream. Snow Sculpting
The archived item guide describes Snow Sculpting as a hobby with 15 designs across five levels. It lists a 100 Wishing Star hobby unlock cost, 20 seconds to make each sculpture and 20 EXP per sculpture. A Snow Machine produced one snowball per hour and held up to 20 unclaimed. Azure provided a Snow Sculpting Bench free after the tutorial, so buying a duplicate bench with event tokens was unnecessary during the season. How did Fashionwave Tokens and Azure’s shop work?
Players earned Fashionwave Tokens through event turn-ins and challenges, then spent them at Azure’s Fashionwave Store. The archived guides list Frostspore Fish, white radish, seasonal cooking, snow sculptures and limited regular collectibles among turn-in or reward categories. Listed shop prices for selected items were:

These are in-game token costs, not real-money prices. The item guide also lists a 2,500-token store refresh cost. It reports Aurora Banquet, a five-star dish, at a sale value of 6,160 Fashionwave Tokens; the same guide suggests high-star seasonal cooking could yield more than raw fish turn-ins, but the return depended on the dish and star level, so this is historical economy guidance rather than a verified best strategy. What happened to rewards and collectibles after the season?
A Heartopia end notice reproduced in a Reddit post says existing collectibles were retained, but Frostspore Fish, Frostspore Butterflies and Winter Birds stopped spawning. It states: “After the Season ends, limited collectibles such as Frostspore Fish, Frostspore Butterflies, and Winter Birds will no longer spawn on the town map.” The same reproduced notice says unused Fashionwave Tokens converted to gold at a 1:1 ratio. The notice also says Snow Sculpting could continue with the Snowball Machine and Bench, and that a home skating rink preserved Ice Skating and Dream progression. Event spawns should not be treated as currently farmable. If the season returns or its rules change, check Heartopia’s in-game event information or an XD Games announcement for the applicable server and version.
