To get the Crystal Bow in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, start the Heartstrings quest at the memorial stone beside the blue-leaved Anima tree on a hill in the Fractured Plains. Activate all seven memorial stones in sequence, then choose “Sing the bard’s song of remembrance” at the final stone. The quest awards the bow and its recipe; leave an open inventory slot for the weapon.
How to reach the first memorial
The starting stone sits on elevated ground in the Fractured Plains, beside a prominent blue-leaved tree and above a dungeon area. A route described by AllThingsHow begins from the Whispering Swamp side and climbs using repeated Windstep casts, with nearby wooden structures as intermediate footholds. Another walkthrough describes building platforms and stairs instead, so use whichever approach suits your character and resources. These access methods are reported by third-party guides, not official game documentation. AllThingsHow’s Heartstrings walkthrough; The Based Otaku’s walkthrough.
Interact with the first memorial to begin the quest. The AllThingsHow guide reports that this adds a crystal seed to the quest inventory. Once the quest is active, follow the memorial trail, using the blue-leaved trees as recurring visual markers.
Where to find all seven memorial stones
Activate the stones in order; the detailed guide says the sequence will not advance if you skip one, and that dying resets progress. The landmarks below follow its route description. The guides differ in some directional descriptions, so prioritize the next memorial and blue-leaved trees rather than relying on compass directions alone. Finish Heartstrings and claim the Crystal Bow
At the final memorial, select “Sing the bard’s song of remembrance.” Choosing “Step Away” does not complete the quest. The reported reward is the Crystal Bow and its recipe. Make sure you have an open inventory slot before completing the interaction so the bow can be added. AllThingsHow’s completion and reward details.
