The practical way to farm Super Credits in Helldivers 2 is to run low-difficulty missions, sweep their accessible Points of Interest (POIs), then decide whether to leave or finish. Arrowhead’s FAQ says higher difficulty does not currently increase Super Credit spawns, and credits you pick up are awarded immediately. This makes low difficulty an efficiency choice—not a higher-drop-rate trick.
How to farm Super Credits
- Choose a low-threat mission. Difficulty 1 (Trivial) is the recommendation in a guide checked for Patch 7.0.0, “Devoid of Liberty,” released August 12, 2026. The guide itself was published August 18, 2026, so treat its route advice as a dated recommendation, not a guarantee for every later patch. Arrowhead’s Warbonds FAQ says, “Higher difficulty missions do not currently spawn more Super Credit (SC).” The FAQ is developer guidance hosted on Steam Community, but it may predate later updates. - Favor a map that is easy to cover. The 2026 guide recommends open terrain, where POIs are easier to spot and reach. The available sources do not establish a best planet, biome, or map seed through controlled comparisons.
- Visit the revealed POIs. Search loot structures such as pods, cargo containers, and bunkers. A level has a finite amount of obtainable Super Credits, and the amount at a POI varies; the FAQ does not provide a universal per-POI amount. Random map contents mean no route can promise a particular haul.
- Choose whether to leave or complete the mission. Picked-up Super Credits are banked immediately, so extraction is not required to keep them. Leaving early gives up the other rewards for completing the mission. If you also want those rewards or normal progression, finish the mission; if credits are your only goal, restarting after covering the map may save time.
Solo runs or squads?
Solo runs avoid coordination overhead. A squad can cover more ground and help open bunkers that require two players to operate their panels, according to GamesRadar’s farming advice. Treat squad play as an optional coverage advantage, not a requirement; some locations may simply be less accessible alone.

What this method can—and cannot—promise
Arrowhead’s FAQ says players can continue finding Super Credits by playing more levels, but each level has a finite amount and the amount per POI varies. No authoritative, reproducible current figure for average Super Credits per hour is established by the sources here. Player anecdotes or commercial guide estimates should not be treated as a guaranteed rate.
Super Credits can also come from Warbond progression; purchasing them through the in-game store is a separate paid route. That does not make purchases necessary for this farming method. PlayStation’s official Helldivers 2 page lists Warbonds and Super Credit packs.

Why to avoid exploit shortcuts
In July 2026, PC Gamer reported that Arrowhead said, “Today we’re improving our monitoring methods for suspicious Super Credit activity.” That statement signals monitoring changes but does not describe the full enforcement system. Stick to ordinary mission pickups rather than relying on exploits. PC Gamer’s report
