The Entrenched Division is a Premium Warbond for Helldivers 2 that Arrowhead announced on March 10, 2026, with a planned deployment date of March 17, 2026. Its lineup combines flame weapons, a gas mortar sentry, explosive gear and a shovel-themed melee utility item, alongside two armor sets and cosmetic rewards. The date is now past; the announcement does not establish the Warbond’s present availability, current price or current balance.
What is in the Entrenched Division Warbond?
Arrowhead community manager Katherine Baskin’s March 10, 2026 announcement on PlayStation.Blog lists six combat items, two armor sets and several cosmetic rewards. The item descriptions below are the announcement’s descriptions of intended roles, not independent performance tests.

Weapons and equipment
| Item | Officially described role |
|---|---|
| B/FLAM-80 Cremator | Heavy support flamethrower that sprays a continuous column of flame and uses a large backpack fuel tank. |
| SMG/FLAM-34 Stoker | Primary submachine gun with iron sights and an incineration attachment. |
| A/GM-17 Gas Mortar Sentry | Automated turret that fires gas shells; the announcement advises players to stay upwind. |
| P-69 Veto | Secondary pistol with jet-assisted rounds, described as allowing players to keep distance from approaching enemies. |
| G-48 Giga Grenade | Heavy throwable with a large blast, trading throwing distance for explosive effect. |
| CQC-73 Entrenchment Tool | Shovel-themed melee/utility secondary weapon for the regular loadout. |
The lineup covers different combat roles rather than one uniform weapon type: the Cremator and Stoker are flame options, the mortar applies gas at range, and the grenade emphasizes blast strength over distance. The announcement does not provide damage figures or comparative effectiveness.
Armor and passives
| Armor | Weight | Passive | Announced effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| CPG-48 Sapper | Medium | Grenadier | A version of Concussive Padding that provides explosive damage resistance and storage for additional throwables. |
| CPH-26 Commandant | Light | Hazmat | A version of Concussive Padding that provides explosive and gas damage resistance and reduces sidearm recoil. |
The announced distinction is straightforward: Sapper is the medium set with extra throwable storage, while Commandant is light armor with gas resistance and reduced sidearm recoil as well as explosive resistance. The announcement does not establish how these passives compare in current gameplay balance.

When was it announced to launch?
Arrowhead announced the Entrenched Division on March 10, 2026 and gave March 17, 2026 as its deployment date. That is a past date, not a forthcoming release. The announcement is a dated reveal rather than confirmation of what is available in the game now. PlayStation’s Helldivers 2 news index and the official Steam announcements page list later 2026 updates; consult current official game or storefront information for present availability.
What do you need to unlock it?
The announcement’s footnote says unlocking requires the base game, paid purchase of Super Credits and game progression. It does not state a Super Credit amount, regional price or numerical progression threshold, so those details should not be inferred from the reveal. The requirement refers to the Helldivers 2 base game; it does not establish a separate physical product for the Warbond.

What the announcement does—and does not—confirm
Baskin characterized the Warbond as “perfect for frontline assault squads who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty.” She also said, “The CQC-73 Entrenchment Tool is now available for your regular loadout as a secondary weapon!” Both statements appeared in the March 10 reveal and describe that announcement, not a current availability update.
The reveal supplies item names, intended roles, armor passives, cosmetics and the announced deployment date. It does not confirm today’s storefront status, current price, acquisition steps across platforms or present-day item balance. Those can change after a reveal, so check an up-to-date official listing before making a purchase decision.
