It introduced three weapons, two armor sets, cosmetics, an emote, a title and a booster. Here is what the announcement said was included and how its advertised mechanics differ.
What the Truth Enforcers trailer announced
Arrowhead Game Studios community manager Katherine Baskin announced the Warbond on October 24, 2024, with an October 31 launch date. The trailer and announcement are promotional material for in-game content, not a separate game. The trailer description identifies Helldivers 2 as available on PS5 and PC; the Warbond itself requires the base game.

Truth Enforcers is a Premium Warbond. The announcement says unlocking it requires the base game, paid purchase of Super Credits and game progression. It does not give a numeric Super Credit price.
The current PlayStation Helldivers 2 news index includes later 2026 updates and Warbond announcements, placing Truth Enforcers in the game’s earlier release timeline rather than presenting it as a current launch.

Weapons included in the Warbond

The SG-20 Halt is the most explicitly configurable weapon in the announcement: its two ammunition choices emphasize different functions. The PLAS-15 Loyalist offers a choice between semi-automatic fire and charging a shot. These are the advertised mechanics, not comparative performance findings.

The announcement describes Unflinching as reducing staggering when hit. Both armor sets share that passive; their stated distinction is weight class—light for the Inspector and medium for the Bloodhound.

When did Truth Enforcers launch?
The original launch date announced by PlayStation.Blog was October 31, 2024. On October 24, Baskin wrote, “With these tools, you will become one of Super Earth’s official Truth Enforcers.” The date is historical, not an upcoming release announcement.

- For a sidearm: the PLAS-15 Loyalist is the Warbond’s plasma pistol, with semi-automatic and charged-shot modes.
- For selectable ammunition: the SG-20 Halt switches between stun and armor-penetrating flechette rounds.
- For a heavy submachine gun: the SMG-32 Reprimand is described as an SMG with a slap reload.
- For armor: choose between the light UF-16 Inspector and medium UF-50 Bloodhound; both have Unflinching according to the announcement.
These distinctions reflect the official descriptions. The announcement does not establish a weapon ranking or provide independent testing results.
