Helldivers 2’s first crossover was with Killzone 2, but its original December 2024 store run is over. The collaboration returned on December 18, 2025 as a permanent Legendary Warbond: it costs 1,500 Super Credits unless you qualify for a free unlock based on an original paid purchase. Arrowhead’s support page, updated August 25, 2026, confirms the content will not be removed after a limited time.
Is the Killzone crossover still available in Helldivers 2?
Yes. Arrowhead first released the collaboration through rotating Superstore pages in December 2024, with a five-day rotation planned for each page. On December 18, 2025, it returned as a permanent Legendary Warbond rather than another limited-time store run. What is included in the Killzone Legendary Warbond?
The Warbond brings together weapons, armor, cosmetics, and other unlocks from the collaboration:
- Weapons: StA-52 Assault rifle, StA-11 SMG, and PLAS-39 Accelerator rifle.
- Armor and cape: AC-1 Dutiful heavy armor and cape, plus AC-2 Obedient light armor and cape.
- Armor passive: Acclimated, which provides 50% resistance to fire, gas, acid, and electrical damage.
- Other unlocks: two player cards, the Assault Infantry title, and Extrasolar Ash patterns for Exosuits, FRV, Hellpods, and Pelicans.
These are the Warbond’s stated contents; the 50% resistance figure is Arrowhead’s description of the Acclimated passive, not an independent test result. (PlayStation Blog announcement.)

Who gets the Warbond free, and who pays 1,500 Super Credits?
Your entitlement depends on whether you purchased at least one qualifying item during the original December 2024 run. Receiving the items Arrowhead gifted at the time does not by itself qualify for the free Warbond.

Arrowhead lists these original purchases as qualifying: the StA-52 Assault Rifle; AC-1 Dutiful armor or helmet; Strength in Our Arms cape or player card; and Assault Infantry title. The support page says the gifted items totaled 247 medals, which can help distinguish the gift-only entitlement from a qualifying purchase. Arrowhead does not offer compensation if a player spent more on original items than the later Warbond’s cost. (Arrowhead support; PlayStation Blog announcement.)

What do you need to unlock it?
The 1,500-Super-Credit figure is the stated Warbond unlock cost for players without a free entitlement; it is not a real-money price. Arrowhead’s PlayStation announcement says the Warbond requires the base game, Super Credits, and game progression to unlock, and cannot be claimed with a Premium Warbond token. It also notes regional limitations, so check your in-game store and account entitlements for local availability. The official sources do not state regional real-money prices. Arrowhead called Killzone 2 “our very first crossover” when it announced the collaboration on December 18, 2024. At launch, the content appeared across two planned Superstore pages, with five days per page as part of a longer-rotation test. That limited-time format has since been replaced by the permanent Legendary Warbond, so returning players and newcomers can access the collaboration through its current Warbond structure.
