Hexguardian is a single-player roguelite tower-defense strategy game for Windows, developed by Split Second Games and published by Yogscast Games. Its defining twist is that you build the battlefield as well as defend it: place hexagonal tiles to shape enemy routes, then use towers, units, spells, and upgrades to stop the waves.

How does the gameplay work?
Build routes with hex tiles
Defeating enemies earns tiles that you can place to extend and reshape the map. The routes you create determine how long enemies spend within reach of your defenses, while the layout also affects where you can build. You can create loops that prevent enemies from spawning from portals, making tile placement an active part of your defense strategy rather than simple terrain decoration.
