Blim City has 15 Luglox chests, according to the Gameranx and Gamerpillar walkthroughs. Open them with your melee knife; some are behind traversal or ability gates, so you may need to return after progressing and acquiring more tools. This route follows Gamerpillar’s numbering from start to finish, rather than mixing locations from guides whose numbering differs.
Before you start
- Unlocking chests: Gameranx says you can begin opening Lugloxes after completing the first bounty. Use your melee knife on each chest.
- Finding them: Gameranx reports that nearby chests appear as blue marks on the HUD map.
- Tools you may need: The route uses a creature to open a pipe and door, discs for climbing, a jetpack, Glob Shot, grapple hooks, and Sweezy’s time bubble. A later generator upgrade is also mentioned for a gated door in Gameranx’s alternate route.
- Rewards: Gameranx says chests give Pesos, which you can spend at the Blim City pawnshop. Rewards for individual Blim City chests are not specified here.
Gamerpillar and Gameranx each list 15 Blim City locations, but their order and some landmark descriptions differ. Follow the numbered sequence below as one route; use the linked guide’s images when a landmark is unclear.

All 15 Blim City Luglox locations
- Half-open garage: Exit your house, turn right, and enter the half-open roll-up door. The chest is inside.
- Little Shitaly pipe: Leave the room and go straight to Little Shitaly. Send a creature into the yellow pipe beside the door to open it and reach the chest.
- Plop Poppers: Exit the house and go left. Climb to the top of Plop Poppers.
- Roadside chest: Go straight from the house. Look for the chest on the left side of the road.
- Giant statue: Turn around from the previous chest and take the opposite path toward the giant statue. The chest is at its base.
- Roof by the burning panels: From the statue, turn left toward the burning wall panels. Use discs to climb onto the roof on the left.
- Adjacent roof: Turn right from the previous chest. Use the jetpack to climb onto the nearby roof, then jump to the chest.
- Glob Shot window: Drop down on the right and climb the nearby stairs. Hit the green-spotted window with Glob Shot, then send a creature through to open the next door.
- Frog-head landmark: Reach the frog-head landmark and grapple across four hooks to its top.
- Red structure: Find the chest on the roof of the red structure in the area’s center.
- Below the roof: Drop from the left side of the previous chest to reach this one.
- Stairway: Turn around from the previous chest and climb the stairs.
- Fan route: Use the iron walls to reach the left building’s roof. Slow the fan with Sweezy’s time bubble and drop through; slow the lower fan to reach the chest.
- Alley by the red truck: Press the wall button, jump through the window, and follow the stairs beside the red truck to a small alley and the chest.
- Floating truck: From the red structure’s roof, zipline to the opposite roof and climb the statue. Use Sweezy’s time bubble on a passing vehicle as a platform to reach the floating truck above the red structure.
When to return for gated chests
You do not need to assume that every chest is available on your first visit. Gameranx recommends returning as weapons and suit upgrades become available, and specifically calls out a jetpack upgrade, an electrical-generator upgrade, Glob Shot, and Sweezy’s slow-motion ability. The route above also uses grapple hooks, creature interactions, and roof traversal. If you reach a door or platform you cannot access, mark the location and come back with the relevant ability rather than treating it as a missed chest.
Why other lists may look different
Gameranx names landmarks such as the bench outside the house, the kiosk near the dinosaur square, behind Blorto’s, the Krust Lord rooftop fan, and the Slums entrance. Its list also identifies a mall-area door that needs Glob Shot and a later generator upgrade, along with a floating vehicle reached from the Krust Lord rooftop. Those labels and the order differ from Gamerpillar’s route above; use one guide’s numbering consistently and cross-check landmarks in the game instead of combining numbered entries from both.
