Quiet Cottage
Use the Quiet Cottage Warp Disc and search inside the cottage for three separate Lugloxes. The location references establish the count and destination, but not a reliable room-by-room sequence; check each accessible interior space rather than relying on an unverified floor or room description.
Gatlus statue
- Leave the house on Gatlus.
- Turn right and follow the edge of the area toward the statue visible in the distance.
- Look at the statue’s base for the Luglox. TrueAchievements’ walkthrough recommends building speed with the Slide Bash Unit to reach the statue.
Use the scanner for ordinary Luglox cleanup
The five secrets are an add-on to the tracked area lists, not a replacement for them. TrueAchievements says nearby Lugloxes appear as blue blips on the scanner and that opened chests remain visible as opened husks. Suit-O’s scanner can therefore help locate nearby tracked chests and distinguish ones already collected. Lugloxes are opened with Knifey when you get close enough.

For a full completion run, guides recommend returning after the final boss, when the available guns and traversal abilities make backtracking easier. The achievement guide describes revisiting areas through the portal at home and scanning with Suit-O; Maka91Productions also notes that some locations call for guns, Mag Boots, or jetpack upgrades.
TrueAchievements reports reward-color patterns—purple chests may yield 100 Pesos or a Warp Crystal, blue may yield 200 Pesos, a Warp Crystal, or a Trading Card, and yellow may yield 300 Pesos or a gun upgrade. These are guide-reported possibilities, not guaranteed rewards for a particular chest.

Why Luglox totals differ between guides
Do not use one guide’s whole-game chest total as a universal target. XboxAchievements reports 222 tracked Lugloxs and 227 required for its achievement guide, including five secrets. The Spells and Guns community wiki also reports 227 but gives a different area breakdown. Maka91Productions describes its video series as covering 228 locations. Those counts are not reconciled by the cited sources, and the difference may reflect revision or counting variations, but that explanation is unverified.
The achievement commonly called Luglox Genocide is described as requiring the player to “Find and open every Luglox chest.” Since published totals disagree, use the in-game collection state and check both your tracked area lists and the five-secret checklist rather than assuming a single published number settles completion.
