Hinder is an American rock band formed in Oklahoma City in 2001. The band’s official site currently promotes Back To Life as its new album; its official tour page and store are the places to check for current shows, vinyl and merchandise.
Who is Hinder?
Hinder’s official biography says Cody Hanson, Joe “Blower” Garvey and Mike Rodden met and formed the band’s musical nucleus in 2001. The band’s history is also summarized by its management company, Shelter Music Group. Hinder’s official site identifies Marshal Dutton as joining in 2015, but those biographies do not provide a complete, dated confirmation of the current lineup.
What is Hinder’s newest album?
Hinder’s official homepage promotes Back To Life as the band’s new album. Apple Music lists it as a 2025 album. For the band’s full official catalog, the discography lists Extreme Behavior, Take It to the Limit, All American Nightmare, Welcome to the Freakshow, When the Smoke Clears, The Reign and the EP Stripped, in addition to Back To Life.
How successful was “Lips of an Angel”?
Hinder’s official website describes “Lips of an Angel,” from the band’s 2005 debut album Extreme Behavior, as “since certified 3x Platinum” and says it remains a radio mainstay. The page does not name the certifying organization or give a certification date, so those details cannot be established from the site’s statement.
