To begin, progress through the main story until Fire and Vice; Poppy’s next quest, A Dragon Debrief, starts with a meeting at the Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade. From there, her story moves from rescuing a dragon to protecting rare Snidgets from poachers.
How to start Poppy Sweeting’s quests
First complete the main quest Fire and Vice. In A Dragon Debrief, Poppy asks you to meet her at the Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade. The walkthrough evidence supports this opening sequence, but does not establish every later unlock condition or how long you may need to wait between quests. Check the in-game quest log for your current objective rather than assuming the next quest will appear immediately after a particular action.

What order do Poppy’s quests follow?
The supported opening is Fire and Vice, followed by A Dragon Debrief. A guide overview lists the subsequent Poppy quests in this sequence:
- A Dragon Debrief
- Poached Egg
- The Poachers’ House Call
- The Centaur and the Stone
- It’s in the Stars
- A Bird in the Hand
- Poppy Blooms
Treat that list as a broad progression, not a definitive in-game checklist: the guide presenting it is inconsistent about the total number of quests. Your quest log is the reliable way to confirm the next available step in your own save.

What happens in Poppy’s story?
Rescuing a dragon
Poppy’s story begins with a dragon rescued from poachers and the effort to return its egg. The opening quests establish her concern for magical creatures and her opposition to poaching.
Following the Snidget clues
Later, Poppy asks for help protecting Snidgets, rare creatures threatened by poachers. In The Centaur and the Stone, she and the player encounter the centaur Dorran and investigate a moonstone connected to clues about the Snidgets.

Reaching the nest
A Bird in the Hand includes a Moonstone door puzzle and a dungeon section involving poachers; progressing through it leads to the Snidget nest. These are the story beats established by the available quest references, rather than a complete account of every scene or dialogue choice.
Can you romance Poppy?
No romance route for Poppy is established. The official Hogwarts Legacy FAQ frames student relationships as friendships and companions, noting that “Some students at Hogwarts will become friends.” Poppy’s quests develop that friendship and reveal her story; completing them should not be treated as unlocking romance.

Do choices change Poppy’s ending?
The available references do not establish reliable choice-by-choice consequences or a specific branching ending. Poppy Blooms is identified as the final quest in the overview, but that alone does not show that dialogue choices change its outcome. Avoid relying on claims about a particular ending unless they are confirmed against the game’s actual dialogue and quest results.

You need Hogwarts Legacy on a supported platform. The official game site lists PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The FAQ discusses both physical and digital purchases, but neither page confirms current retailer stock, prices, or edition-specific contents. The official FAQ also names Hogwarts Legacy: The Official Game Guide from Scholastic as a companion publication; check the current edition and contents before relying on it for Poppy-specific walkthrough details.
