To start The Lost Fleas, accept the Wayfarer Wish at Bone Bottom’s Wishwall or speak to Fleamaster Mooshka in The Marrow. Rescue five fleas anywhere in Pharloom and return to Mooshka. Completing the wish sends the Caravan to Greymoor, where Grishkin provides the Flea Brew tool. Later Caravan moves depend on further rescues and, in some accounts, area conditions; published guides disagree on the exact thresholds.
How to start and complete The Lost Fleas
- Pick up the wish. Find The Lost Fleas on the Wishwall in Bone Bottom, or speak directly to Fleamaster Mooshka in The Marrow. The quest objective is: “Seek fleas across the lands of Pharloom and guide them to the Flea Caravan.”
- Rescue five fleas. Rescues count across Pharloom; you do not need five in one area. The Hollow Knight Wiki says the Huge Flea and the NPC fleas Kratt and Vog count if rescued.
- Return to Mooshka. Speak to him in The Marrow after reaching five rescues to complete the wish. Mooshka invites Hornet to travel to Greymoor. According to the wiki, declining does not stop the Caravan from departing.
Route caution: The Hollow Knight Wiki notes that completing this wish before defeating Moorwing can temporarily skip that boss encounter. If you want to fight Moorwing on your current route, defeat the boss before finishing the wish. This is a route-specific warning from the wiki, not an independently verified game-version guarantee.
What the quest gives you
After the Caravan reaches Greymoor, speak with Grishkin to receive Flea Brew, a tool. Nintendo Life describes it as not consuming Shards and says it can be replenished at the Caravan for Rosaries. The Hollow Knight Wiki specifies a refill cost of 30 Rosaries and says refills are free in Act 3. These are guide-reported details; check the in-game prompt for the cost and availability in your current progression.
Where the Caravan moves
The Caravan begins in The Marrow, but later destinations and thresholds are not reported consistently. The Hollow Knight Wiki and Nintendo Life give different rescue counts and describe the last destination differently, so treat these as separate guide accounts rather than a single confirmed progression chart.

The wiki also says Kratt and Vog count toward the total but are not required for Fleatopia. Because the guides conflict on both later counts and the final destination, use your current map and area access to judge what remains rather than treating either guide’s numbers as universally settled.

- Refill Flea Brew: Grishkin’s cauldron is the refill point described by the Hollow Knight Wiki; its listed price is 30 Rosaries, with free refills in Act 3.
- Use Kratt’s spa: The wiki lists the service at 10 Rosaries.
- Locate missing fleas: Vog can mark missing flea locations on the map for Rosaries, according to the wiki.
These service details and prices come from secondary game guides; the relevant prompt at the Caravan is the best check for the cost in your current game state.
