The description also gives two exceptions: naturally occurring triple damage is doubled, while Barbed Wire halves damage. These are the creator’s stated effects, not independently verified results.
What the mod says it changes
TheLima’s No Double Damage (But better) listing describes its central change as turning double damage into triple damage. The author writes, “This mod turns any double damage into triple damage.”
- Double damage: changed to triple damage, according to the creator.
- Natural triple damage: multiplied by two, according to the description.
- Barbed Wire: halves damage, according to the description.
The listing’s headline-like pitch is therefore not simply “all damage becomes triple.” Its special-case notes matter when interpreting what the mod is meant to do.
How it differs from Triple Damage Plus
TheLima also has a separate listing, Triple Damage Plus, whose description says “Every damage is Triple Damage+” and says it was made after requests for every enemy to deal triple damage.

Kara Phillips’s September 11, 2025 PC Gamer coverage described the change as attacks that dealt two damage becoming three, in the context of Silksong’s difficulty. That is dated secondary coverage; the mod page is the primary source for the creator’s stated behavior. Neither source establishes current compatibility.

If you want to investigate a mod specifically intended to replace double damage with triple damage, No Double Damage (But better) is the listing behind that claim. If you are looking for a broader stated change in which every damage instance is triple, compare it with the creator’s separate Triple Damage Plus listing. In either case, treat the descriptions as claims rather than a guarantee of how a current build behaves: the pages do not provide a current test report or compatibility matrix.
