To complete the Rite of the Pollip in Hollow Knight: Silksong, accept Greyroot’s Gather Wish in Shellwood, collect six Pollip Hearts, then return them to Greyroot for the Pollip Pouch. The quest can be accepted without a listed prerequisite, but reaching one of the blooms requires Cling Grip, and the final heart involves a detour through Bellhart.
How to start the Rite of the Pollip

Where to find the six Pollip Hearts
Look for Pollip Hearts around the purple flowers in Shellwood. The hearts are released by destroying the larger buds associated with those flowers. Collect six in total. Hollow Knight Wiki quest entry

One bloom requires Cling Grip
A walkthrough reports that Cling Grip is needed to reach the fifth bloom. This is an exploration requirement for that heart, not a requirement to accept Greyroot’s wish. If you reach a bloom you cannot access, return after obtaining Cling Grip. Silksong Wiki walkthrough

Reach the final heart through Bellhart
- From Shellwood, take the upper-right exit into Bellhart.
- Drop through Bellhart toward the passage on the left.
- Follow the passage back into a previously inaccessible section of Shellwood, breaking the vine wall mentioned in the walkthrough as needed.
- Search this area for the remaining Pollip bloom and collect its heart.
This detour is the reported route for the last heart. The available written directions do not give a complete room-by-room route for all six, so use your in-game map to check which parts of Shellwood you have already explored rather than relying on invented coordinates. Silksong Wiki walkthrough

Once you have all six Pollip Hearts, return to Greyroot in Shellwood and deliver them to complete the wish. The reward is the Pollip Pouch, which the quest entry describes as applying venom to applicable red tools. That description does not establish that it affects every tool.
