Her released mechanics revolve around building Slashed Dream points and Crimson Knot stacks through her Skill and debuff applications, then spending those points on an Ultimate that does not use ordinary Energy. Acheron’s kit: how Slashed Dream and Crimson Knot work
Acheron’s combat loop has two linked parts: Slashed Dream points determine when she can use her Ultimate, while Crimson Knot stacks on enemies contribute to that Ultimate’s damage. Acheron’s Talent ties the two together by rewarding debuff applications.

Basic ATK and Skill
Her Basic ATK deals Lightning damage to one enemy. Her Skill, Octobolt Flash, deals Blast damage, grants one Slashed Dream point, and adds one Crimson Knot stack to its primary target.

When any unit inflicts a debuff on an enemy while using an ability, Acheron gains one Slashed Dream point and applies one Crimson Knot stack. If one ability debuffs multiple enemies, the Knot is applied to the enemy that already has the most stacks. When an enemy is defeated or leaves the field while Acheron is present, its Crimson Knot stacks transfer to the remaining enemy with the most stacks.

Ultimate: spend nine Slashed Dream points
Acheron’s Ultimate, Slashed Dream Cries in Red, becomes available at nine Slashed Dream points; it does not rely on ordinary Energy. It performs three Rainblade attacks followed by Stygian Resurge. Rainblade removes up to three Crimson Knot stacks from its target, with stack removal contributing to damage. Stygian Resurge deals area damage and removes any remaining Crimson Knot stacks.
During the Ultimate, Acheron can reduce enemy Toughness regardless of Weakness Type, and enemies’ All-Type RES is reduced for the duration. Because points and Knots are both generated by debuffs, a team that applies debuffs through abilities can help her reach the Ultimate and build its damage contribution.

Technique: an opening advantage
Acheron’s Technique attacks before combat and grants Quadrivalent Ascendance at the start of each wave. It can immediately defeat normal enemies without starting combat. Against enemies that enter combat, it deals Lightning damage and reduces Toughness regardless of Weakness Type. Quadrivalent Ascendance also provides a Slashed Dream point and Crimson Knot application after Acheron’s Ultimate, as listed in her profile.
Acheron’s major Traces and team requirements
Her major Traces shape her opening, team composition, and Ultimate damage. The Abyss is the key team-building condition: its damage bonus scales with the number of other Nihility characters on the team.

Red Oni
At the start of battle, Red Oni grants Acheron five Slashed Dream points and applies five Crimson Knot stacks to a random enemy.
The Abyss
The Abyss increases the damage of Acheron’s Basic ATK, Skill, and Ultimate based on the number of other Nihility characters in the team. One other Nihility character gives these attacks 115% of their original damage; two other Nihility characters raise that figure to 160%.

Thunder Core
Thunder Core increases Acheron’s damage when Rainblade hits enemies with Crimson Knot, stacking up to three times. It also adds damage when Stygian Resurge triggers.

Acheron’s Eidolons affect her damage, her Nihility-team requirement, and how her attacks interact with Ultimate damage and Toughness. The table describes their listed effects; it does not imply a universal pull priority, which depends on an account’s teammates, Light Cone, and goals.

Why Eidolon 2 changes the team calculation
E2 is the direct exception to The Abyss’s usual Nihility teammate count: it lowers by one the number of other Nihility characters required for the Trace’s maximum effect. Its turn-start point and Knot also give Acheron progress without waiting for a debuff application from another unit.
Release context and current kit status
“Leaked” describes the pre-release conversation around Acheron, not the status of her current kit. HoYoverse’s Version 2.1 update notice provides official release-era context, while the current profile source documents her skills, Traces, and Eidolons and reports Patch 4.0 review/build-calculation updates and a February 12, 2026 profile update. The released mechanics above should therefore be read as a playable-character guide, not an unconfirmed leak.
