To beat Ten Stonehearts: Aventurine of Stratagems, bring damage that covers his listed Physical, Ice, or Lightning weaknesses, keep healing or shielding ready for the second phase, and use multi-target attacks when the dice appear. The dice gamble is the fight’s main pressure point: the whole team is drawn into it during phase two, so prepare to defend as well as deal damage.
What to prepare before the fight
- Weakness coverage: Game8 lists Physical, Ice, and Lightning as weaknesses, and Imaginary as a resistance. Choose available characters who can exploit one or more of the listed weaknesses rather than assuming Imaginary damage is a good fit. Game8’s Aventurine boss guide identifies these attributes.
- Sustain: Bring a healer or shielder, and have their skills or ultimate available as the second phase approaches. This is a practical response to the forced team-wide gamble and its combat pressure, not a claim that one specific sustain character is required.
- Multi-target damage: Keep an AoE or blast option available for the dice checks. A 2024 video guide shows players attacking the All or Nothings during the gamble; exact score thresholds and damage values are not confirmed by the sources cited here. NJMH Nexus’s video guide.
How the dice gamble changes the fight
In phase two, the whole team is forced into the gamble involving the All or Nothings. Treat this as a predictable mechanic rather than a surprise damage race: keep the team healthy beforehand, then use multi-target attacks when the dice are present. An AoE or blast attack can give you options to affect multiple targets, but the available sources do not establish an exact winning threshold or guarantee a particular outcome.

If the gamble leaves characters hurt, prioritize stabilizing the team before returning to ordinary damage. Don’t spend every defensive resource early if you can help it; having healing or shielding ready for this phase gives you a safer response to its pressure.

Eager for Battle
HoYoWiki describes Eager for Battle as requiring one attack to make at least two All or Nothings roll six simultaneously. This is a specific dice outcome, not simply a reward for defeating Aventurine. The description surfaced on HoYoWiki.

All My People, All My People…

Keep the boss and playable Aventurine’s kits separate
This encounter is against Ten Stonehearts: Aventurine of Stratagems; it is not a test of the playable character’s ordinary combat kit. In particular, the playable Aventurine guide’s Fortified Wager shields and Blind Bet follow-up attack describe his character mechanics, not the boss fight. HoYoLAB’s playable Aventurine guide.

Choosing a team without chasing a universal ranking
No single best team is established by the available sources. Your roster and character investment matter; build around the tools you actually have. When comparing candidates, consider whether they cover a listed weakness, can use AoE or blast attacks during the dice check, and leave room for reliable sustain. A team that handles the gamble safely is often a more practical choice than one focused only on damage.
