For a version 4.6 Fugue build, prioritize 67% Effect Hit Rate, then aim for about 220% Break Effect, with enough Speed and defensive stats to keep her acting and alive. Equip Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge when its bonuses fit your stats, and use Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern when its Fire-weakness condition can be met. Fugue is best treated as Break support with supplementary damage: her value is in helping a Break-focused team, not in building her as a conventional damage carry.
These are third-party guide recommendations, not official HoYoverse rankings, and they depend on your roster, enemy weaknesses, and the gear you already own. HSR Build marked its version 4.6 guide updated September 26, 2026; its Light Cone and relic recommendations are attributed to Prydwen’s measured in-play builds. Read the HSR Build Fugue guide.
Fugue build at a glance
| Slot or priority | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Light Cone | Long Road Leads Home; consider Lies Dance on the Breeze, Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat, Solitary Healing, or Before the Tutorial Mission Starts according to your roster and owned superimposition. |
| Relic set | Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge; Thief of Shooting Meteor and Eagle of Twilight Line are alternatives. |
| Planar ornament | Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern when you can attack a Fire-weak target; otherwise consider Talia: Kingdom of Banditry. |
| Main stats | Effect Hit Rate body; Speed feet; HP% or DEF% sphere; Break Effect or Energy Regeneration Rate rope. |
| Stat order | Reach 67% Effect Hit Rate, then build toward 220% Break Effect, followed by Speed and HP%/DEF%. The cited guide gives 250% Break Effect as Iron Cavalry’s second-threshold target. |
| Role | Break support and sub-DPS for teams built around a Break carry. |
The percentages are build targets from HSR Build’s 2026 recommendations, not universal account requirements or results from a published statistical study. Its guide says Fugue’s own Break damage is not a large share of overall team damage, which is why 220% Break Effect can be a more practical goal than chasing the Iron Cavalry second threshold at the expense of other useful stats. HSR Build’s Fugue stat and set recommendations.
Which Light Cone should Fugue use?
HSR Build’s version 4.6 order is Long Road Leads Home (S1), Lies Dance on the Breeze (S1), Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat (S5), Solitary Healing (S5), then Before the Tutorial Mission Starts (S5). The listed superimpositions matter: the ordering reflects those guide configurations and should not be read as a universal comparison for every account or team. Check what you own and whether its effect supports your lineup before spending resources to chase a higher-ranked option. See the attributed Light Cone ranking.

Long Road Leads Home
This is the guide’s first choice in its stated S1 comparison. Treat that placement as a recommendation tied to the tested build context, rather than a guarantee it will outperform a better-superimposed or more useful alternative in your particular team.
Lies Dance on the Breeze
Listed second at S1 in the same ranking. Compare its team utility with the Break support and debuff needs of your composition instead of evaluating the slot by its position alone.
Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat
Resolution is a plausible accessible option if you have it. HoyoWhatpeon explains that its Ensnare effect applies a separate DEF reduction after Fugue lands an enhanced Basic Attack, adding a debuff that can support Break and Super Break damage. The page says the four-star Light Cone appears in ordinary Warp pools and remains functional at lower superimpositions. HoyoWhatpeon’s Fugue build discussion.
Solitary Healing and Before the Tutorial Mission Starts
Both appear among HSR Build’s alternatives, at S5 in its ordering. Choose between them and the higher-ranked options based on the superimposition you actually own and the needs of the full team; the cited ordering does not establish that every account should replace a working Cone to obtain them.

Best relics and planar ornaments for Fugue
Relic set: Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge
Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge is HSR Build’s featured relic set for Fugue. The guide identifies 250% Break Effect as the amount for the set’s second threshold, but recommends a 220% Break Effect target for its overall build summary. Since Fugue’s personal Break damage is not a large portion of the team total in that guide’s framing, do not sacrifice Effect Hit Rate, Speed, or survival just to reach the higher set threshold. HSR Build’s Iron Cavalry and stat guidance.
Alternative relic sets
- Thief of Shooting Meteor: an alternative listed by HSR Build if its pieces give you stronger usable stats.
- Eagle of Twilight Line: another listed alternative; compare your actual substats and farming cost rather than assuming a new set is automatically an upgrade.
The cited guide does not provide a numerical head-to-head result for these alternatives. In practice, weigh the set bonuses against your attained Effect Hit Rate, Break Effect, Speed, and defensive stats, as well as the cost of replacing good existing pieces.
Planar ornament: Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern or Talia
Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern is the version 4.6 guide’s planar pick. Its Break Effect proc is conditional: HoyoWhatpeon’s version 4.4 discussion says it requires hitting a Fire-weak target. If neither the enemy’s weakness nor an ally’s implant supplies Fire Weakness, that older guide suggests Talia: Kingdom of Banditry instead, with 145 Speed as Talia’s activation threshold. Because that condition comes from a version 4.4 source, check the current in-game effects and your encounter before committing to a farm. HoyoWhatpeon’s planar-set conditions.
HoyoWhatpeon also describes Broken Keel as a situational option after reaching 30% Effect RES while maintaining Fugue’s Effect Hit Rate and Break targets. That is a conditional alternative, not the featured version 4.6 recommendation.
Fugue’s main stats and stat priorities
Main stats
- Body: Effect Hit Rate.
- Feet: Speed.
- Planar Sphere: HP% or DEF%.
- Link Rope: Break Effect or Energy Regeneration Rate.
Substat order
- Effect Hit Rate to 67%. This is HSR Build’s recommended target.
- Break Effect toward 220%. Consider 250% if you specifically want to reach Iron Cavalry’s second threshold and can do so without weakening more important parts of the build.
- Speed, then HP%/DEF%. Use remaining rolls to improve turn frequency and survivability.
These thresholds are guide targets, not mandatory breakpoints for every encounter. The same guide lists Fugue’s Ultimate cost as 130 Energy, which is relevant when deciding whether an Energy Regeneration Rate rope better serves your rotation than a Break Effect rope. HSR Build’s stat targets and Ultimate cost.

The cited team examples pair Fugue with Break-focused carries. They are roster-dependent templates, not universal best teams: consider the carry’s weakness coverage, whether Fugue’s Weakness implant is useful, the team’s Break amplification, and who provides sustain.
| Carry | Example team | Fugue’s stated role or rationale |
|---|---|---|
| Firefly | Firefly / Ruan Mei / Fugue / Lingsha | Weakness implant support. |
| Boothill | Boothill / Ruan Mei / Fugue / Gallagher | Weakness implant support for the single-target Break carry. |
| Rappa | Rappa / Ruan Mei / Harmony Trailblazer or Fugue / Lingsha | Fugue is presented as an alternative Break support. |
| Himeko | Himeko / Ruan Mei / Harmony Trailblazer or Fugue / Gallagher | The guide’s rationale is Himeko’s follow-up attacks against broken enemies. |
These lineups and role descriptions come from HSR Build’s version 4.6 examples. See its Fugue team recommendations.
Choosing between Fugue and Harmony Trailblazer
In the Rappa and Himeko examples, Fugue can occupy the Harmony Trailblazer slot. The source presents that as an option, not as a blanket upgrade. Compare what the team needs from its support slot, whether Fugue’s implant is useful against the encounter, and whether the rest of the lineup still provides enough Break amplification and sustain.

What Fugue’s Eidolons change
The ordinary build recommendations should not assume Eidolon effects. HSR Build’s game-text section describes these changes:
- E1: The Foxian Prayer target gains 50% Weakness Break Efficiency.
- E2: Fugue restores 3 Energy when an enemy’s Weakness is broken; after Fugue uses her Ultimate, all allies’ actions are advanced by 24%.
- E4: The Foxian Prayer target’s Break DMG increases by 20%.
- E6: Fugue gains 50% Weakness Break Efficiency, and Foxian Prayer affects all allies while Torrid Scorch is active.
These are Eidolon-specific effects as reproduced by the guide, not baseline parts of her kit. HSR Build’s Fugue game-text section.
How to adapt the build to your account
- You do not have the top-ranked Light Cone: compare the listed alternatives at their actual superimposition and prioritize the one that contributes useful team utility or debuffs.
- You fall short of 250% Break Effect: the cited build summary targets 220%; treat the higher figure as a set-threshold goal rather than a requirement.
- Your enemy is not Fire-weak: Kalpagni’s cited Break Effect proc may not be available unless an ally provides Fire Weakness; consider Talia under the stated version 4.4 conditions.
- You already own strong alternative relic pieces: compare completed stats and farming cost before replacing them solely to match a recommended set name.
- You are choosing a team slot: select Fugue where her Break support and weakness coverage address the fight, and ensure the team retains damage support and sustain.
The current ranking evidence here is a third-party guide attribution, not an official HoYoverse endorsement or a published general statistical study. HoyoWhatpeon’s planar corroboration is version 4.4; its older timing makes the conditional mechanic useful context, but not an equal-weight current ranking. Team and set recommendations can change with later game versions and character releases.
