What does Gallagher’s kit do?
Besotted and Nectar Blitz
Gallagher’s Ultimate deals Fire damage and applies Besotted to all enemies for two turns. It also enhances his next Basic Attack into Nectar Blitz. Besotted is the key to his combat loop: his kit links healing to attacks against enemies carrying the effect. The Ultimate also has toughness-reduction utility, as recorded in the HoYoWiki entry.
In practice, his Ultimate sets up the Besotted window, while the enhanced Nectar Blitz gives him a way to attack during it. This makes him a support who contributes through sustain and attack-linked utility rather than a character whose build should be judged only by personal damage.
