There are two Honkai: Star Rail records with this song title. The Robin album track is obtained in the Golden Hour, while Hope Is the Thing With Feathers (Overture) is a separate record found through a later Penacony Grand Theater route. For the Robin track, go to the staircase east of the Clockie Statue and listen to the guests’ conversation to start the encounter.
Which Hope Is the Thing With Feathers record do you mean?
| Record | Location | Unlock route |
|---|---|---|
| Robin album track, Hope Is the Thing With Feathers | Golden Hour, Penacony | Listen to the two guests near the staircase east of the Clockie Statue, then complete the Mysterious Dreamchaser encounter. Gamepur’s guide and Sportskeeda’s guide cover this encounter. |
| Hope Is the Thing With Feathers (Overture) | Ascension Hall, Penacony Grand Theater | After the Trailblaze Mission “Everything that Rises Must Converge,” follow the message and Lost Property steps, then speak with the Elegant Intellitron. ONE Esports’ guide describes this route. |
How to get the Robin album track in Golden Hour
- Go to the Golden Hour. Find the staircase east of the Clockie Statue and look for the guests nearby.
- Listen to the conversation. The Vexed Pepeshi Guest and Lonely Intellitron Guest discuss Robin’s sold-out album. Hearing them starts the hidden encounter.
- Finish the Mysterious Dreamchaser encounter. When the seller offers the album, you can buy it or report him to a nearby Bloodhound Family member. The guides describe both choices as ways to receive the music; if you report him, continue speaking with the people involved until the scene concludes.
- Collect both records. The encounter awards Hope Is the Thing With Feathers and Sway to My Beat in Cosmos.
How to get the Overture record in the Grand Theater
If your target is specifically Hope Is the Thing With Feathers (Overture), use the Ascension Hall route rather than the Golden Hour encounter. ONE Esports says this area and record route become available after the Trailblaze Mission “Everything that Rises Must Converge.” Its guide describes the following sequence:
- After the mission, check for Robin’s message.
- Retrieve the floating Lost Property book near the Great Septimus boss area.
- Return to Ascension Hall in the Penacony Grand Theater and speak with the Elegant Intellitron to receive the record.
These are separate records with different unlock locations; the Overture steps should not be used as directions for the Robin album track.
Where to listen to collected music
Use the phonograph in the Astral Express Parlor Car to play collected music. For the Overture track, the guide describes selecting the Penacony disk and setting the track as coach music.
