Her 160-Energy Ultimate makes energy management a central build decision. Recent Version 4.5 recommendations favor Flowing Nightglow, ATK, and Energy Regeneration Rate, but differ on relic ornaments and secondary stats, so the best setup depends on your gear and team.
How Robin’s kit works
Robin supports the whole party with damage amplification, an all-ally action advance, an ATK buff, and additional damage tied to allies’ attacks. Her rotation revolves around using her Skill and then timing her Ultimate to create a Concerto window for the team.

Skill: Pinion’s Aria
Pinion’s Aria increases all allies’ damage for three turns; the duration decreases at the start of Robin’s turns. HSR Build’s reproduced level-one ability text lists a 50% increase. That figure applies to the displayed ability level, not every possible Trace level. HSR Build’s Robin profile reproduces the game text.
Ultimate: Vox Harmonique, Opus Cosmique
Robin’s Ultimate costs 160 Energy, immediately lets all other allies act, and starts Concerto. During Concerto, Robin grants allies an ATK increase based on her ATK plus a flat amount. Each ally attack triggers one instance of her additional Physical damage. Robin is immune to crowd control during this state and does not take turns or act until Concerto ends. HSR Build reproduces these mechanics, and Prydwen’s Robin guide provides ability and build context.

#1 Best Overall
Talent: Tonal Resonance
Tonal Resonance increases the team’s CRIT DMG and gives Robin additional Energy regeneration after allies attack, according to HSR Build’s reproduced game data. Together with her 160-Energy Ultimate cost, that makes both ally attack frequency and Robin’s energy setup relevant to how often she can use her main team-wide effect.
Practical rotation implications
Use Robin’s Skill to establish its team damage bonus, then use her Ultimate when the team can capitalize on the action advance and Concerto window. Frequent ally attacks provide more opportunities to trigger Robin’s additional damage during Concerto. This is a mechanic-based implication of the ability descriptions, not a claim that one fixed rotation is optimal for every fight.
Robin’s best Light Cones
Flowing Nightglow is the clearest high-investment recommendation among the recent guides, but it is not mandatory. Eneba’s Version 4.5 guide, updated September 11, 2026, names it as its top choice; HSR Build’s September 26, 2026 ranking also places it first at S1. Prydwen explains its appeal through Energy Regeneration, ATK, and team damage effects that support Robin’s Ultimate and buffing role.
| Light Cone | Why consider it | Context |
|---|---|---|
| Flowing Nightglow | Energy Regeneration, ATK, and team damage effects complement Robin’s Ultimate-centered support kit. | Top choice in Eneba’s September 11, 2026 Version 4.5 guide and HSR Build’s September 26, 2026 ranking at S1. Ranked at or near the top, not a requirement. |
| For Tomorrow’s Journey | Accessible alternative that supports Robin’s buffing and personal damage. | Eneba identifies it as its F2P alternative; Prydwen discusses its contribution to Robin’s buff and damage. |
| But the Battle Isn’t Over | Another ranked option to consider when available on your account. | HSR Build places it after Flowing Nightglow in its September 26, 2026 ranking; recommendation order and performance context can vary by guide. |
When comparing options, weigh energy support first alongside ATK and team effects. The ranking sources do not establish that a single Light Cone wins in every roster or investment context.

Relics, ornaments, and main stats
Recent guides agree on the broad priorities—ATK and Energy Regeneration Rate—but not one universal relic-and-ornament package. Choose based on which set bonuses you can assemble, Robin’s energy needs, the team she supports, and the quality of the individual pieces.
| Configuration | Sets and main stats | Substat emphasis | Source context |
|---|---|---|---|
| Eneba’s setup | Two-piece Musketeer of Wild Wheat plus two-piece Prisoner in Deep Confinement; Fleet of the Ageless ornaments. ATK% body, boots, and sphere; Energy Regeneration Rate rope. | ATK%, then HP%/DEF%, then SPD. | Recommended by Eneba’s September 11, 2026 guide for Version 4.5. |
| HSR Build’s setup | Musketeer of Wild Wheat and Sprightly Vonwacq; ATK% body and feet, ATK% or Physical DMG sphere, Energy Regeneration Rate rope. | ATK% is at least as important as SPD, followed by HP%/DEF%. | Listed on HSR Build’s profile updated September 26, 2026. |
| Prydwen’s context | Musketeer of Wild Wheat is identified as a strong relic option; the guide discusses set bonuses by relative DPS. | Not stated as a directly comparable ordering in the cited summary. | Guide last updated May 31, 2026, with a major build/calculation update for Patch 4.0; older than the September recommendations. |
For a practical choice, start with a usable ATK-oriented set and an Energy Regeneration Rate rope, then compare ornament bonuses and substats rather than chasing a nominally “best” set with weak pieces. The sources differ on SPD’s priority: Eneba places it after ATK%, HP%, and DEF%, while HSR Build rates it at least as highly as ATK%. Treat SPD tuning as team- and build-dependent rather than a settled universal rule.
Trace priorities and Eidolons
HSR Build lists Robin’s Trace priority as Ultimate > Skill > Talent > Basic. This order emphasizes the Ultimate that drives her action advance and Concerto state, followed by the Skill’s team damage increase.
HSR Build’s reproduced game text lists E1, Land of Smiles, as granting allies 24% All-Type RES PEN during Concerto. E2 grants allies 16% SPD during Concerto and increases the Talent’s Energy Regeneration effect by one. These figures describe the listed Eidolon effects; whether to invest depends on your roster, goals, and available resources rather than a universal pull threshold.

Team comps and choosing allies
Robin is most naturally paired with damage dealers whose attacks make good use of her buffs and who can attack frequently during Concerto. Add a sustain and a complementary damage dealer or support to complete the team. The following are published examples, not proof of a single best lineup for every game mode.
| Example team | What it illustrates | Source context |
|---|---|---|
| Aventurine • Waveflair, Yao Guang, Robin, Huohuo | A named four-character lineup pairing Robin with two supports and a sustain. | Listed by HSR Build on its September 26, 2026 profile. |
| Ashveil, Robin, Topaz & Numby, Aventurine | A follow-up-oriented lineup with multiple allies able to attack during Concerto. | Follow-up example listed by HSR Build. |
| Dr. Ratio, Robin, Topaz & Numby, Aventurine | Another follow-up-oriented example built around Dr. Ratio and Topaz & Numby. | Listed by HSR Build; Eneba’s 2026 examples differ, reflecting version, roster, and guide assumptions. |
Use the examples as starting points, then check whether your damage dealer benefits from Robin’s team buffs, whether allies can make repeated attacks during Concerto, and whether the lineup has a sustain that fits the encounter. A roster’s available characters and the game mode matter more than copying a lineup unchanged.
What to prioritize when building Robin
- Plan around the Ultimate. Its 160-Energy cost makes energy generation important; use Energy Regeneration Rate as a core build consideration.
- Build ATK. Recent build sources emphasize ATK, which supports Robin’s ATK-based buff and her own contribution.
- Choose gear you can actually optimize. The September guides disagree on ornaments and SPD ordering, so favor a coherent set with strong substats over treating one combination as mandatory.
- Match her to the team. Allies that attack frequently during Concerto make more use of its attack-triggered damage; round out the squad with a fitting sustain and complementary units.
- Treat Eidolons as account-specific investment. E1 and E2 add team effects, but the guide data does not establish a universal point at which pulling becomes worthwhile.
These recommendations synthesize guides updated for different patches. Eneba’s guide is for Version 4.5 and HSR Build’s profile was updated September 26, 2026; Prydwen’s guide is older, last updated May 31, 2026.
