There are 12 Black Boxes in Horizon Forbidden West. Find them across the map and bring them to Untalla at Memorial Grove to trade for rare crafting resources; turning in all 12 earns the Legendary Wings of the Ten blastsling. None are missable, and you can collect them in any order, including after the main story.
Spoiler note: The boxes contain audio and datapoint material from the game’s world. Turning them in also reveals story-world content.
