Honkai: Star Rail version 1.0 launched on April 26, 2023, at 10:00 (UTC+8). HoYoverse announced pre-installation for April 23. The PS5 release came later, on October 11, 2023, so its registration rewards were a separate event—not part of the April launch.
When did Honkai: Star Rail launch?
HoYoverse’s official version 1.0 announcement says Honkai: Star Rail, subtitled “The Rail Unto the Stars,” went live on multiple platforms at 10:00 (UTC+8) on April 26, 2023. That is the time zone stated by the publisher; players checking the date in another region should convert from UTC+8 rather than assume the local calendar date was the same. Read HoYoverse’s version 1.0 launch announcement.
When could players preload?
HoYoverse’s HoYoLAB announcement said, “The pre-installation will start on April 23!” That was three days before the announced version 1.0 launch. The announcement does not establish a confirmed download size or provide a complete platform-by-platform preload procedure, so those details should not be inferred from the date alone. See the HoYoLAB launch event announcement.
What launch rewards were available?
Launch-era rewards should be treated as historical announcements, not as a promise that a new player can claim them now. The available official information does not establish a complete, verified reward table for the original PC and mobile launch, nor does it prove that those rewards remain eligible to claim today. Check current official in-game notices or HoYoverse announcements for present eligibility.

Was the PS5 launch on the same date?
No. The April 26, 2023 date was the version 1.0 multi-platform launch; the PS5 release followed on October 11, 2023 (UTC+8). HoYoverse’s PS5 announcement described registration rewards in connection with that later release, so those should not be presented as rewards delivered with the original April launch. Read HoYoverse’s PS5 arrival announcement.
PS5 registration rewards
For the PS5 launch event, HoYoverse’s FAQ listed rewards at registration milestones: more than 100,000 registrations unlocked 10,000 Credits; more than 300,000 unlocked 5 Adventure Logs; more than 600,000 unlocked 5 Condensed Aether; and more than 1,000,000 unlocked one 4-star Light Cone, The Seriousness of Breakfast (Erudition). HoYoverse said the registration rewards would be sent through in-game mail after the PS5 release. The FAQ also said that a player logging in on PS5 for the first time could obtain the 4-star Cavern Relic Musketeer of Wild Wheat set. These are PS5-event details, not a complete list of April version 1.0 rewards; the FAQ does not establish that they can still be claimed. See HoYoverse’s PlayStation 5 FAQ.
