The official aircraft listings provide role labels and prose descriptions, but do not define numerical stat bars, their scales, or aircraft-by-aircraft values—so there is no supported “best stats” ranking to give from those listings.
What the four aircraft roles mean
The roles are broad descriptions, not guarantees that a plane can only perform one kind of mission. The publisher advises choosing an aircraft based on mission objectives and playstyle, then preparing it with upgrade parts and special weapons. Check an aircraft’s individual description and loadout options rather than treating its category as a complete performance profile.

- Fighters: Presented primarily through air-combat strengths. The F-15C Eagle is described as an air-superiority aircraft with speed, maneuverability, and endurance; the F-22A Raptor is described as a stealth fighter with strong air-combat capability.
- Attackers: Oriented toward ground attack in the roster descriptions. The Su-34 Fullback, for example, is called a fighter-bomber and described as heavily armed and armored, with air-to-air armament for self-defense.
- Multirole Aircraft: Suited to more than one mission profile. The F-35C Lightning II is explicitly described as configurable for air-to-air and ground attack missions. The Rafale M is described as supporting air superiority, interdiction, reconnaissance, and air support.
- Electronic Warfare Aircraft: The EA-18G Growler is listed in this category. Bandai Namco describes it as an electronic-warfare attacker with attack capability and air-to-air missiles for self-defense.
These descriptions and labels come from Bandai Namco’s official aircraft roster. They illustrate role tendencies; they are not a complete roster or an independently tested ranking.
What is known—and not known—about aircraft stats
The official aircraft page gives category labels and written descriptions, but the available material does not define a numerical stat display, the units or scale behind one, or a complete set of values for each aircraft. It therefore does not establish, for example, what a particular bar measures or which aircraft has the highest score in a given stat.

Use the roster’s stated traits where they are actually named—such as speed, maneuverability, endurance, stealth, armor, or self-defense armament. Treat those as descriptive distinctions, not as parts of a confirmed numeric scoring system. A stat-bar explanation or aircraft ranking would need to be checked against a current in-game screen or manual, with the game version and platform identified; the official roster alone cannot substantiate one.

Rather than trying to infer a universal winner, compare the details the official descriptions actually provide:

How to choose an aircraft for a sortie
- Read the mission briefing. Identify the objectives and target mix. Bandai Namco says briefings provide strategic insight and advises adapting aircraft and tactics to each combat scenario.
- Match the task to a role and aircraft description. Consider whether the mission calls for air combat, ground attack, or flexibility between them, as well as the playstyle you prefer. Do not assume a role label guarantees a particular numerical-stat advantage.
- Configure the aircraft for the mission. The official walkthrough identifies upgrade parts and special weapons as customization options. Select from the options available to prepare for that sortie.
- Plan how to use your wingman. The walkthrough describes issuing attack and cover orders in real time, so wingman commands can be part of your tactical plan.
This approach follows Bandai Namco’s official gameplay and customization guidance, which says to consider the mission objective and playstyle when selecting an aircraft.

Does the online aircraft roster differ?
Bandai Namco’s official game FAQ says the online aircraft roster matches the campaign roster, while aircraft in online mode are acquired through rewards earned in that mode. That is progression information, not evidence that the aircraft have different stats online.
