It depends on what you mean by “claim.” If Roblox awarded you a pass through its Buy Robux promotion, join the experience named in Roblox’s prompt to claim the pass. If you created a pass and want its sale earnings, check Pending Robux in My Transactions; proceeds may be held in escrow before they are added to your Robux balance.
Claiming a pass Roblox awarded you
For a pass received with an eligible Robux package, follow Roblox’s prompt and join the creator’s experience. Roblox documents joining the game as the way to claim a promoted pass; it does not describe a separate manual claim button or a recovery process for a pass that fails to appear. Roblox Creator Hub: Passes
- Open the experience specified by the promotion prompt.
- Join that experience to claim the pass.
- If the pass still is not available, confirm that you joined the intended experience and that you are dealing with a promoted pass—not Robux from your own pass sales.
Checking Robux earned from your pass sales
Pass-sale earnings are different from claiming an awarded pass. Roblox holds earnings from Experience Pass sales in pending status while they are being released. The pass-specific support page does not give a fixed release period or an exact transaction-fee amount, so neither should be assumed. Roblox Support: Experience Passes
- Open the Roblox Robux menu.
- Select My Transactions.
- Check Pending Robux for proceeds still in escrow. After the holding period ends, Roblox says the Robux appear in your total.
- To review pass sales history, use Sales of Goods. The transaction page also includes filters such as Summary, Purchases and Creator Rewards.
Roblox’s transaction-navigation instructions are in its Where are my Robux? support article.

Why owning a pass may not unlock its benefit
A successful purchase or claim does not by itself guarantee that an experience has applied the pass’s privileges. Roblox makes the creator responsible for implementing those benefits: creators need to check pass ownership when a player joins and handle privileges on the server. Roblox’s Creator Hub documents purchase-finished events for purchase prompts and recommends server-side handling. Roblox Creator Hub: Passes
Passes are one-time purchases for benefits such as access to a restricted area, an avatar item in an experience or a permanent power-up. Items intended to be bought repeatedly—such as potions, temporary boosts or in-game currency—are developer products instead. If you own the pass but its benefit is missing, the issue may be how the experience implemented or assigned the privilege rather than a pending Robux balance.

Creator note: promoted pass eligibility
Creators can opt a pass into Roblox’s promotion bonus pool in Creator Hub under Monetization > Passes: select the pass, open Promotions, enable Include this item in the bonus pool and save. Promoted passes may be on sale or off sale. For an on-sale pass, Roblox requires a Robux value greater than 49 and less than 801, a thumbnail, compliance with Community Standards and no paid random-item rewards. Roblox says users are shown passes relevant to their play history and engagement, and are not shown passes they already own. These are Roblox’s current Creator Hub conditions for promotion, not steps a player takes to claim a pass. Roblox Creator Hub: Passes

Roblox’s Creator Hub said cross-game pass sales were scheduled to be disabled starting May 30, 2026, and recommended Robux transfers for experiences that depended on that mechanic. That date has passed; do not rely on older instructions that describe cross-game pass sales as available. This policy concerns creators selling passes across experiences, not a player claiming a pass Roblox has already awarded. Roblox Creator Hub: Passes
