There is no single documented cheat that unlocks every item in The Sims 4. To access Build/Buy career reward objects, enter bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement. To reveal hidden catalog objects, use bb.showhiddenobjects and search Build/Buy for debug items. The two cheats cover different groups; neither is a universal unlock for every item or content you do not own.
Open the cheat console
- PC or Mac: While in the game, press Ctrl + Shift + C.
- PlayStation or Xbox: Hold all four shoulder buttons to open the console, as described in EA’s The Sims 4 Cheats FAQ. That FAQ names PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, so its instructions should not be assumed to verify controls on every newer console.
Enter the cheat you need and submit it. You can use the codes below for their specific Build/Buy purposes.
Unlock career reward objects in Build/Buy
In Build Mode, enter bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement. This makes career reward items available in the Buy catalog. It applies to those career reward objects, not every reward or item category in the game.
Show hidden and debug catalog objects
Enter bb.showhiddenobjects, then open Build/Buy and search the catalog for debug objects. EA says hidden objects include items not ordinarily available for purchase; ended special-event items are one example. The FAQ does not guarantee that every past event item will appear in every current installation.

These commands do not establish access to every Create-a-Sim item, every reward category, or paid content you do not own. EA’s FAQ describes the effects above without claiming a universal unlock-all-items command.
Console achievements and trophies
EA says cheats that require testingcheats true disable achievements or trophies for the current save on console. EA also says Build Mode cheats are fair game. The two Build/Buy commands in this guide are the relevant options for catalog objects; avoid enabling testingcheats true in a console save where you want to preserve achievements or trophies.
