As of October 2026, it unlocks at 13,500 Trophies; the published schedule raises that threshold to 14,000 in November. Your league determines your progress, matchmaking considers your wins and current league, and each season ends with a reset to Master I.
What is Clash Royale Ranked?
Ranked, previously called Path of Legends, is Clash Royale’s league-based competitive mode. Supercell’s Ranked support guide describes seven leagues. You advance through league steps by winning matches; at Ultimate Champion, progression shifts to a Hall of Fame leaderboard rather than steps.
How do you unlock Ranked?
The Trophy requirement changes by season, so check the dated threshold rather than relying on an older guide. Supercell’s 14 July 2026 schedule sets the requirement at 13,500 Trophies for September and October 2026, then 14,000 for November. Reaching Champion League in Ranked preserves access for the following season, according to the July 2026 update and the June 2025 update.
Trophy Road total and Ranked league progress are different things: the Trophy threshold controls entry, while wins in Ranked move you through its leagues. The schedule published in July 2026 covers July through November; it does not establish thresholds for later seasons.

How do Ranked matches and matchmaking work?
Win matches to climb the steps in your current league. Supercell says matchmaking uses your number of wins and current league. Its guide does not publish a more detailed formula, so it does not establish additional hidden rating factors or exact opponent-selection rules.
You can create up to ten decks for Ranked. Supercell’s current support guide does not provide a complete current card-level cap table, so consult the in-game mode details for the applicable limits rather than relying on an older cap list.

What happens at the end of a season?
Ranked seasons start on the first Monday of each month. At season end, players return to Master I. Players who reached at least Grand Champion can receive a win multiplier based on their previous-season progress; it decreases by one after each win, helping eligible players climb more quickly toward their former standing. These rules are described in Supercell’s Ranked guide.

- Seasonal rewards: Refresh at the start of each season, shown on the right side.
Reward contents can change, so check the current in-game display for the items available in a particular season. A statistic in Supercell’s June 2025 reward update said 47% more players earned Gems in Trophy Road than in Card Mastery during May 2025; that is a publisher-reported comparison between those two reward sources, not a statistic about Ranked players.
