In Final Fantasy XI, Login Points accrue at set login milestones and can be exchanged for campaign rewards, including items and alter egos. Since Square Enix’s November 10, 2025 (JST) update, the schedule awards 50 points for the first login and each login through the 14th, 500 points on login 15, then 100 points for each login from the 16th onward. You can carry a maximum of 700 unused points into the following month.
How many Login Points do you get?
The November 2025 schedule is based on login number within the campaign, not a single flat daily amount. Square Enix published these awards in its November 10, 2025 (JST) version update notice:
| Campaign login milestone | Points awarded |
|---|---|
| First login | 50 |
| Logins 2–14 | 50 per login |
| Login 15 | 500 |
| Login 16 onward | 100 per login |
Using that schedule, the 14th login brings the total to 700 points; the 15th raises it to 1,200. Each login from the 16th adds another 100. These are the published earning rules, not a guarantee that every monthly campaign will feature the same selection of rewards.
What changed in the November 2025 exchange tiers?
Square Enix revised the point costs for several reward tiers. The update lists the prior value and its new status or value:

- New jobs including the highly requested Blue Mage and Corsair expand battle strategies
- Learn about key NPCs, new monsters, and new areas in Vana'diel's Near East
- Use a new type of battle called Assault
| Previous tier | After the update |
|---|---|
| 10 points | 5 points |
| 100 points | 10 points |
| 300 points | 150 points |
| 500 points | 500 points (unchanged) |
| 750 points | Removed |
| 1,000 points | 1,000 points (unchanged) |
| 1,500 points | 1,500 points (unchanged) |
The revised tiers lower the cost of some previously featured items and alter egos, while removing the 750-point tier. Square Enix said the changes were intended to make previously featured rewards easier to obtain and allow more items to be added. The tier table describes exchange costs, not a promise that a particular reward will appear in every campaign.
How many points can you carry over?
At the end of a campaign month, up to 700 unused Login Points can carry into the following month. The cap was reduced from 1,500 to 700 in the November 10, 2025 (JST) update. Any balance above the cap does not carry over, so points beyond 700 should be used before the campaign period ends if you want to spend them.

How should you plan your balance?
Check the reward list and point costs announced for the campaign you are playing, then compare the desired reward’s cost with your current balance. The published structure gives a useful benchmark: 700 points is both the total reached by login 14 and the maximum amount that can carry into the next month; login 15 adds 500 more, and subsequent logins add 100 each. If you have more than 700 left near the end of a campaign, choose an available exchange for the excess rather than assuming it will carry over.
The November 2025 update establishes the earning schedule, tier changes, and carryover cap. It does not establish a permanent reward lineup, a particular campaign’s deadlines, or the exchange NPC and menu procedure. Use the current Square Enix campaign notice or in-game information for those campaign-specific details.
