How Warhorse revealed Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
Warhorse Studios unveiled the sequel during a YouTube and Twitch livestream on April 18, 2024. Rather than rely on a short trailer, the studio presented a roughly 15-minute overview filmed at St. Barbara’s Church in Kutná Hora. Windows Central’s report on the event describes a horse, Tom McKay (Henry) and Luke Dale (Hans Capon), alongside developer commentary that included co-founder Daniel Vávra. The official reveal video is the primary source for the announcement and the game details.

The location gave the presentation a direct connection to the sequel’s setting. Warhorse’s video description identifies Kuttenberg as a city at the heart of the game, which takes place in medieval Bohemia. In that context, filming the announcement in Kutná Hora helped make the reveal feel rooted in the world being introduced, not just staged as a conventional studio presentation.
What the game is about
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is an action role-playing game set amid civil war in fifteenth-century Bohemia. Players continue as Henry of Skalitz in a story involving revenge and discovery. The US PlayStation listing describes an open world with first-person combat, character customization, blacksmithing and archery.

Warhorse announced PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as platforms. The game is no longer an upcoming release: the US PlayStation listing gives February 4, 2025 as the PS5 release date. That page also lists a base game, Royal Edition and Saga Bundle. Edition contents, prices and availability can vary by region and change over time, so check the relevant store listing for current details.
