Differences between runs may reflect puzzle-solving pace, retries, or exploration, but the cited reports do not establish a measured reason for the gap. Bandai Namco PR, as quoted by Insider Gaming in 2025, expected a playthrough to take “under 10 hours”; that is an expectation, not a promised completion time.
How long to complete everything?
Deku Deals lists a completionist estimate of 10½ hours. Treat it as an aggregator figure rather than a verified average: the page does not expose the underlying sample or methodology. The available sources do not provide a separate, substantiated time for collecting every item or earning every achievement.

Does the expansion pass add to that time?
The main-story estimate is for the base game, not the extra chapters. Bandai Namco’s Deluxe Edition includes the Secrets of The Spiral expansion pass, which contains two additional chapters. By October 2026, the publisher’s update/news listing showed both The Backstage and The Shores as available. The cited official information does not give a combined runtime for those chapters, so there is no reliable total to add to the base-game estimate.

Does solo or co-op change the length?
Little Nightmares III follows Low and Alone. You can play solo with an AI companion or team up online. Low uses a bow, while Alone uses a wrench; the tools serve different puzzle and combat functions. No cited source provides a controlled solo-versus-co-op time comparison, so it is not possible to say one option is inherently faster.
For online co-op, Bandai Namco says an internet connection is required and a Friend’s Pass lets a friend join with one purchased copy on supported platforms. A co-op save stays with the same two players; separate saves can be started for solo play or another partner. Platform rules can differ: PlayStation’s listing says online co-op is the only multiplayer mode and both PlayStation players need PlayStation Plus. Check the listing for your platform before planning a shared run.

Release dates also vary by platform listing: Bandai Namco lists October 10, 2025, while Steam lists October 9, 2025. The game is listed for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo Switch. PlayStation’s game listing has platform-specific multiplayer details; Bandai Namco’s Q&A covers Friend’s Pass and save rules. The publisher’s June 2025 Q&A said cross-platform play would not be supported and cross-generation support was under consideration then; its January 2026 update later confirmed Switch and Switch 2 cross-generation multiplayer.
