A 24-pack example costs 16,800 Apex Coins: 24 Collection Event Packs at 700 coins each. That is not a guaranteed price for every event: the total depends on the live collection’s size and its event-specific rules.
How many Apex Coins does a 24-pack collection cost?
At EA’s listed price of 700 Apex Coins (AC) per Collection Event Pack, buying 24 packs would cost 16,800 AC (24 × 700). EA’s current FAQ gives the pack price; the 24-item count comes from particular historical events, so this is a worked example rather than a universal event price. EA’s Apex Legends FAQ cautions that pricing can change or vary.
Why the total can differ for a live event
Collection size and ways to earn or obtain items are event-specific. For example, EA’s 2019 Fight or Fright announcement described 24 event-exclusive items and said they could be obtained by direct purchase, crafting, or Event Apex Packs. EA’s 2021 Anniversary Collection announcement also described a 24-item collection, with its own reward and crafting details. Those examples do not establish the rules for a different event.
Before spending, open the event page in Apex Legends and check the current item count, pack price, bundles, free rewards, crafting options, and any adjustment for items you already own or event progress. The in-game details for the specific event determine what remains to buy.

How many coins might you need to purchase?
The amount of AC required in the game is not the same as the amount of money you will spend at the store. EA lists coin bundles of 500, 1,000, 2,250, 4,600, 7,200, and 12,500 coins; selected bundles may include web bonuses. Your cash outlay depends on your region, platform, available offers, and the combination of bundles you choose. EA also says store-bought coins cannot be used on Nintendo Switch. Check the official Apex Legends store for the options available to you.

If the live event offers more than one route, compare the remaining coin cost with the other options shown in-game. Direct purchase, crafting materials, free event rewards, bundles, and items already in your collection can affect how many packs—or how much currency—you actually need. Historical event announcements confirm these routes have existed, but do not establish which ones apply to an unidentified live event.

EA’s FAQ lists baseline cosmetic prices of 1,800 AC for a Legendary item and 1,000 AC for an Epic item. Those figures are not a substitute for checking the event page: event rules and prices may differ, and EA says pricing is subject to change or variation.
