DELTARUNE has one ending, according to its official FAQ. The game still lets your choices shape routes and chapter events; those variations are not counted as separate endings in the FAQ.
What does the official FAQ say?
The official DELTARUNE FAQ answers “How many endings are there?” with one. It also responds to “Then doesn’t that mean nothing I do matters?” by saying, “There’s something more important than reaching the end.” The page does not identify a named speaker for either answer.
Do choices and routes still matter?
Yes. The official site describes DELTARUNE as a linear, chapter-based game while asking, “… only 1 ending…?” Its one-ending answer does not mean every playthrough has identical events.
Route descriptions, including pacifist and violent play, document changes to chapter events and outcomes based on actions and recruitment choices. For example, Chapter 1 can play out differently depending on how you handle encounters. These are route-level or chapter-level variations, not additional game endings according to the official FAQ. Detailed route examples are described by the community-maintained DELTARUNE Wiki, rather than presented as a developer statement.

Does the Snowgrave route change the ending?
The evidence supports a careful distinction: routes can affect events, but the official FAQ still gives the game’s ending count as one. It does not describe Snowgrave as a second ending. Calling route consequences “another ending” is an informal interpretation, not the count the FAQ provides.

Chapter availability can change over time. As of October 8, 2026, the official FAQ says Chapter 6 is in development and that more chapters are planned beyond Chapter 5. Nintendo’s official listing describes Chapters 1–4 as available, with more planned as free updates. Steam’s listing says Chapters 1 and 2 are free and subsequent chapters must be purchased. Check the official FAQ for the latest release status.
