Roblox reported 32 million experiences in 2022, but its more recent official materials do not give an exact current total.
What does Roblox count as a game?
Roblox uses the term experience for the user-created playable worlds and activities on its platform. “Games” is the familiar shorthand, but an experience can include more than a conventional game.
What is the latest exact number?
The clearest specific total Roblox has published is 32 million experiences, reported in an October 2022 post. That post also said more than 60,000 new experiences were being published daily at the time; both figures describe 2022, not today. The publishing rate cannot be added to the old total to estimate the current catalog because it does not account for experiences that may have been removed or become unavailable. More recent official sources continue to describe the platform as having millions of experiences, but do not state a current exact total. Roblox’s FY2025 Form 10-K describes users exploring millions of experiences, and a June 2025 engineering article likewise refers to millions of unique experiences. Why Roblox’s other numbers are not a game count
Roblox publishes measures of platform activity, but they answer different questions from how many experiences exist in total.
- Users and engagement: Roblox reported an average of 127 million daily active users and 123.9 billion hours engaged in calendar 2025. These measure audience size and time spent, not catalog inventory. The Form 10-K also says users explored an average of over 24 different experiences per month; that is a measure of user activity, not the total number available. Roblox FY2025 Form 10-K
- Visits: At RDC 2025, Roblox reported more than 390 billion visits to experiences and an average of over 21 experiences visited per user per month. A visit is not a distinct experience, and the monthly average is not a total-platform count. Roblox Developer Conference 2025
- Daily active experiences: Roblox’s metrics page labels a statistic “daily active experiences,” dated to Q3 2025. That is a daily-activity measure, not the number of all experiences available. Roblox investor metrics
- Category activity: Roblox’s 2026 Digital Expression Report says sports experiences received 5.6 billion visits and 1.1 billion hours of engagement in H2 2025. Those figures describe activity in one category, not the size of the full catalog. Roblox Digital Expression Report 2026
So, how many Roblox games are there?
The most accurate answer is millions, with no current exact total published in the official sources cited here. The figure of 32 million is a useful historical reference, but it should not be presented as today’s count.
