Ready or Not supports up to five players in online co-op, and you can also play solo. Its official store descriptions say crossplay is supported, but the five-player cap remains the stated maximum.
How many players can play Ready or Not co-op?
Up to five players can play together in co-operative online play. VOID Interactive gives this same maximum in the official Steam listing and PlayStation Store listing.
The store descriptions say the co-op experience supports crossplay across platforms. Crossplay does not increase the stated five-player limit.
Can you play Ready or Not solo?
Yes. Steam lists single-player as a feature, while the PS5 listing identifies one-player play and says online play is optional. You do not need a full squad to play alone.

Does the player count differ by platform?
The official store descriptions state the same co-op cap—up to five players—and describe crossplay. The PS5 listing specifies that a PlayStation Plus subscription is required for online play; that condition is specific to PlayStation and should not be assumed to apply to PC.

Is there split-screen or local multiplayer?
The cited official store pages do not establish split-screen or local multiplayer support. They describe co-op online play, so do not assume that several people can play together on one console or PC.
