What are the 28 Unown forms?
The complete set is the 26 letters of the English alphabet and two punctuation symbols:

- Letters: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z
- Symbols: ! and ?
Bulbapedia’s Pokémon GO Unown reference lists all 28 forms.
Are Unown forms different Pokémon types?
No. “Types” in this question means forms, not battle types. Unown is one Pokémon species with multiple forms. Pokémon GO can track alternate forms separately, but that does not make each one a separate species; see Bulbapedia’s overview of Pokémon with form differences.

Can you catch all 28 forms right now?
The total form count does not mean all 28 are available at any given time. Pokémon GO events may feature only a selection. For example, Niantic’s Paldea-region launch announcement listed Unown A, D, E, L, and P for global raids during that event; that lineup is historical, not a current availability list.
Are shiny Unown available?
Shiny availability is event-specific. The Niantic Pokémon GO Help Center says Unown cannot be encountered in its Shiny variants outside specific events and directs players to official event updates. An event featuring Unown does not necessarily include every form or make every form available as a Shiny.
